Encouraging Look Into Heaven
It was very insightful and encouraging to see a glimpse of what heaven looks like and what is going on there. Helpful for those who have lost a family member. I also found the section "Animals In Heaven" in Chapter 2 very interesting.

Good Choice For Educators
The book is very helpful in producing activities and worksheets for children. Many great and creative ideas have stemmed from here. I highly reccommend this book for teachers when helping students learn to write.

Manage your mouth but skip this book
The concept and potential of this book is great. However, the title seems to say it all - in other words, manage what comes out of your mouth, because it can affect your success. Beyond that, save your money. I hesitate to write negative reviews because I ask myself - why would I do that, they didn't do anything to me?! But actually, I bought this book based on the 5 star reviews and it was a let down. Again, the author should be commended for the concept and for meaning well on such an important topic. I just didn't really feel like it helped me manage my mouth better, which is the point of my review. I have books you couldn't pry out of my hands (like "Keeping your cool under pressure") but I would gladly give up Managing Your Mouth for one dollar of my money back.

Managing Your Mouth
A great book on managing one of our best assets! As a manager, I found the book beneficial as it addresses the ramifications of poor communication. It addresses using body language combined with speech and/or silence. Considering "words and movement are the basis of communication" between co-workers, this book is essential in reminding all of us the joys of having and working with individuals who have "a better managed mouth".

A must read for developing superior interpersonal skills.
This is a "one of a kind book" that deals with one of the most important aspects of one's personal development. Most people get in trouble because they say things that offend others. This book is a tremendous help in off-setting that tendency. It will help readers, in both, on the job performance and in their personal lives.

Aesop for academics
This is not an everyman's book of folklore, but good if you have an academic interest in he roots of some of the most famous stories in the world. This ain't what your first grade teacher told you folks, but it's interesting to say the least. One can compare this with the uncensored versions of Grimm's Fairy Tales in that these originals are quite brutal and "politically incorrect" in comparison to the children's versions that most of us are familiar with today...if you are a purist and /or a student of folklore, then this is for you.

Very Moralistic.
I typed in Aesop's Fables into Amazon's search engine and there were 299 matches and none of them were quite the same as the book I have read. This edition comes closest but is not exactly it. Anyway this is my review.

Aesop tells over 200 small stories. There are rarely over a page in length and each has a moral which is printed underneath but can usually be grasped before the story finishes. Included, of course are the famous stories, "The boy and the wolf", "the Tortoise and the Hare" but there are over a hundred less famous stories which have morals that are just as meaningful.

This is a great book but not one I can recommend wholeheartedly. It is more like an encyclopedia of stories than a book itself. It would be impossible to just sit down and read these stories one by one to a child without sounding preachy. Instead it would be useful as a reference that a parent could use to explain a misdeed.

One surprise of these stories is that our morals have not changed in the thousand years since Aesop wrote these. He often talks about oppresors and these are still very much influencing our daily lives.

Not for children, but a good source & great book
I think perhaps some of the reviewers here are missing the point of this book. And please don't go read Ben E. Perry's book because it's just full of falsities. I know, I've read it. Here's the thing: the fables that I and many others have grown up with are really adaptations and distortions of the real fables. And as the author points out, those fables may have been attributed to Aesop but he didn't think all of them up. He had other sources he drew from. These fables are probably not best read to children but if you're going to use them to help teach morals then adapting them to your own purpose is fine. However, I read this edition for a scholarly purpose because I'm interested in the origins of fables and folk tales. It is a really good book for that purpose. Morality was not Aesop's thing, the morals were attached later. If you're into morality then try another book.

Didn't Help Me Very Much
I confess; I bought this book for my partner. I thought that it would make for good bedtime reading and interesting discussion and we could both learn something along the way. I was counting on the photographs to be educational, and they aren't, really. Neither are they even very arousing. My partner has never picked the book back up even though it's in plain sight near the bed. I am very much disappointed. This book is more of a general overview on oral sex in general and I was looking for something more specific-technique oriented. I've browsed other books on the subject and I will probably give one of them a try.

Well worth reading
This book is well worth reading, especially if you are a man who really wants to please a woman orally. I found it humorous and entertaining, and I am definitely going to pass it on to my boyfriend so he can read it. Of course, since it is written by a man, it is not comprehensive. However, given the fact that he lacks the necessary equipment, he shows a really good understanding of the female sexual anatomy. This book emphasizes the point that cunnilingus is normal, healthy, and a great way to excite a woman. This is the most important thing for a man to understand if he wants to be considered a good lover. This book is definitely one to purchase. Follow his suggestions and your sex life is bound to improve.

I don't what the person above expected, but...
I think this book is great. The author treats the topic very professionally by explaining the history behind C. His humor is effective 75% of the time. I found the pictures erotic rather than offensive, and I enjoyed the personal stories. He gives a numerous resources for toys and aids that can enhance sex in general and oral sex specifically. The little bits of info that he shares with the reader can make the difference between and extremely erotic encounter, and just a half-ass (I couldn't help it) try at something new. (I especially liked his suggestion to rub viginal juices on the neck and nipples of ones lover. Further increasing the pleasure of kissing those areas.) In all, I think Dr. Birch did a terrific job of conveying the mutual pressure of cunnilingus.
