Just Another Graduate Marketing Book
This book is no better than any of the other graduate level marketing books that are available. You might think that since this book has 15 authors it might have something that books with only 3 authors lacks. But, if you thought this you'd be wrong. This book offers nothing new and its extremely high price makes it even less appealing.

The best of two worlds
This book combines the knowledge of excellent scholars of marketing in a clear and structured format which is accessible to undergraduates. In addition, the cases and other teaching materials provide excellent support.

Don't waste your money!
The trial transcripts are available on line (for free!!!!!). Imagine that, you can get an unbiased take on the evidence! Van Pelt gives very compelling testimony (unlike some of the other highly paid "witnesses" for the defense) but why pay him again for it?

Brilliant and long-overdue
A fascinating look at a trial which brought to light the nefarious and underhanded way in which Holocaust deniers and revisionists twist the facts of history. A must-read for history buffs, truth seekers, and legal eagles.

Kerr could bore for Australia
John Kerr was a Judge and later Governor General of Australia. He is famous as he was Governor General during Australias Constitutinal crisis of 1975. On that occasion there was a deadlock between the conservative controlled senate and the labour controlled house of representatives. The Labour party lead by Gough Whitlam had just been forced to an election the previous year by the conservatives and were not keen to go again especially as the economy was not in good shape.

Kerr dismissed the Whitlam Government installed the conservative leader Fraser and called an election. The decision was controversial at the time as it was thought by some that the conservatives would give in and in dismissing Whitlam when he did Kerr handed the conservaties a massive electoral advantage.

More recently Kelly in his book 1975 has critized Kerr on other grounds. That is in his view the failure to comunicate with Whitlam was a serious error.

After teh events Whitlam put out a book attacking Kerr not only for his decision but attacking him as a person suggesting that he was a drunk and a social crawler. This is Kerr's response.

Unfortunately Kerr did not have the gift of the light quip or even the light anything. The book is written in leaden prose and in a tone that is hard to like. It probably now would only be of interest to historians or people who have a high boredom tolerance.

Following the writing of this book, Kerr who had a slight problem with alcohol and who gave a speech at the Melbourne Cup obviously very drunk went into exile moving to Europe.

The social damage done by this episode in Australia's history was repared by the success of the Hawke Labour government and by the parties electoral success in Queensland.

Not a review
This is not a review, I would simply point out that this book should be linked with the former Australian PM, Gough Whitlam, as the author of Matters for Judgement is the one who dismissed Whitlam.

A misleading historical portrait
The authors of this novel have clearly NOT done their homework on the modern Greek state. For country which has been seiged by Ottoman Rule and genocide, which has been kept "in the dark" by brutal Turkish rule while other countries in Europe experienced such events as the Industrial Revolution and the Renaissance, and whose people have been used as political toys by countries such as the United States and Great Britain, Greece has come a long way in the last twenty years. After the dictatorship, which consequently was installed by the United States government, the country was crippled. For a country with so few resources and even fewer allies, I have the tendency not to agree with the viewpoint of the authors. The only true way to comment on the modern Greek state is to take all previous history into account. The authors clearly did not do that. For anyone interested in reading a more non-biased on the modern Greek state,a great source would be Richard Clogg's book, "A concise History of Modern Greece".

The most negatively biased book on Greece
The author uses everything that has been written on Greece to present an image of Greece as hopelessly backward and certainly not worthy of entering into the European Union. It underestimates to a laughable point the danger of Turkey to Greece. It could have been written by the Turkish propaganda ministry.

The sample problems are out of date with the current test.
The sample problems in this book do not adequatley represent the types of problems in the current FE exam. There is more emphasis on op-amps and transistor circuits than this study guide shows. This book does not adequately cover op-amps and transistors.

OK but not the best!
This book failed to go deep enough into the theory of electrical engineering for the FE exam. I would recommend the EIT Electrical Review over this book as as good study guide for the exam. This book gave me false hope as to the type of questions going into the exam. (I still passed) The EIT Electrical Review is more theoritical like the exam. Although I feel like the questions in this book were more representative of what today's electrical enginners should be tested on, they are not theoritical enough for a good EIT test review.

great book for high school students
I took the FE exam in April 2000. I used this book to study for the afternoon electrical exam. I felt confident because I understood all the problems in this book. Unfortunately, only 1 or 2 of the 60 problems in the afternoon exam were addressed in this book. Luckily I did well on the morning exam and I passed.

This book did not prepare me whatsoever for the exam because it did not cover relevant information such as boolean algebra, FETs, and modulation equations. Spend some money and get a better book.

This is not what I want my students to learn from my class.
This book is the same as many others. It does not show as many details of the circulatory system as I would like. I happened to know the other author of this book, John P. Harley. He does not look like a professor of biological sciences. He looks more like a cop. He works at Eastern Kentucky University.
