This is an excellent book for 4-12th grades. It has interesting writing and project ideas to stimulate creative learning. It would also be a valuable resource for homeschool parents teaching on the subject of the Ancient World.

Beginning Reading at Home has had 8 printings and is endorsed by Mary Pride, Cathy Duffy and Dr. Fred Brengelman. It is a complete phonic program to start the young child 3-6 years on their way to reading. It is sold world wide.

My 8-year-old son and I both enjoyed this book. "Tiger Tales" presents a lot of information in text, drawings, photographs, and a map. And I learned something new, too. Do you and your children know why tigers, cheetahs, jaguars, and leopards have stripes or spots but lions and pumas do not? Well, if you don't know, this book is a good source for the answer!

As a fledgling writer, I have read more than a dozen books on writing. This one is, by far, the best. The text is clear (and amusing)and the goal an excellent one. The reader who puts thise techniques in practice will materially enhance their chances for publication. The examples make it easy to see the author's point. I recommend this book without reservation.

John Peters writes well, with good examples and helpful explanations. His book is a reader-friendly, straightforward way of putting into practice Christopher M. Anson's THE LONGMAN HANDBOOK FOR WRITERS AND READERS, Steve Lynn's TEXTS AND CONTEXTS, and Stephen Minot's THREE GENRES.

This book is NOT just for kids!! I read it to my baby cousin and reread it after she fell asleep! It was a fascinating read, very well written and well supported by imaginative drawings. My favorite section, about the bugs, is simply amazing and my baby cousin loved it, too! Great stuff.

The synthesis and meta-analysis of the research provides implications for instruction. A must have for reading specialists, Special Education specialist/teachers, and anyone who has the desire to improve their understanding of the reading process and improve their instruction.

What a wonderful book! I couldn't imagine such an espectacular book about one of my favourite paiters: Rubens. It's a very nice printed book, with plenty of images from the Maria dei' Medici Gallery of the Musée du Louvre. The text is wonderful. A "Must" book if you are in love with the Flemish paintings of the XVII century. Don't loose this opportunity!
