Extremely nice-looking and well-informed
The only book I have ever found about folk dolls only. The pictures are great, the information about dresses is complete. My only wish is to find the same kind of book about more "modern" dolls. This book mostly deals with dolls from museums and does not give many tips about where to find good folk dolls today. Looking forward to reading Volume2!

Very Disappointing !
This is definately not a 2000 book. Coin dates stop at 1984. What a waste of money this book was.
Excellent for the new collector.
This book is an excellent resource for the new collector or the old collector who is staring to purchase coins. It is easy to understand and the layout makes it easy to find your coin. It could contain more info on different grades of coins from good to uncirculated, most are just fine to uncirculated. A must have for the new collector!
Excellent Reference
This book is by far the best for refering all US Coins and gives a far price listing for all coins. Great for beginners and expert collectors. If you going to collect coins this book is a must.
Westmoreland Glass: Identification and Value Guide

DISAPPOINTING
This is a difficult book to rate because it is strong on a few points, but extremely weak on others. It provides the most detailed history of Westmoreland Glass that I have ever seen, and some of the facts are fascinating. However, it is very, very, very poorly organized. Photos are not always identified. Many items are discussed but not depicted in photo or sketch. The price guide in the back uses different names/descriptions than what is used in the text of the book, so you can never be sure if you are checking value on the correct item. I enjoyed the book, but if you want to learn more about various pieces of Westmoreland glass, you will need to buy other books. Unfortunately, I cannot offer advice on what others because I have not found a good one yet. Lorainne Kovar's books are GROSSLY OVERPRICED and still do not do the job they should. I would NOT recommend Kovar's books on any subject.
Westmoreland Identification & Value Guide
I was very disappointed in this book. I collect Westmoreland Milk Glass - primarily the grape panel pattern. There was very little in this book on milk glass. A true Westmoreland Glass book would have a great bit of it in there.
westmoreland glassware review
Great history of the company, but I was disappointed in the little milk glass content. The author talks about how important the opal (milk) glass line was for business, but does not offer much samples of it in the book.

basic italian lab manual
THIS BOOK HAD WRITINGS ALL IN THE BOOK. HOW CAN THE SELLER SELL SOMEONE A BOOK IN SUCH BAD CONDITIONS. MY FIRST TIME AD IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPIERENCE! I RETURNED IT AND NOW I HAVE 2 LOOK SOME MORE
Best Italian book for new student
Of the several books I've used this is the best for a student to use for self-teaching with tutorial help or for a class of first time students. Thirteen pages at the beginning dedicated to pronunciation is unprecedented but essential to those wanting to speak and understand the language. It(mostly) avoids the usual problem of inserting grammer not yet covered. The important grammatical issues are clear and well displayed. One drawback is the "bitesize" nature of the chapters which results in some inconvenience in structuring a syllabus. Many users characterize the book as "easy". But it covers all essentials of the language, comparable to other textbooks, and in just as much depth. It's presentation and logical flow eliminate much confusion for a new student.

Very misleading, Not up to date
This book is very basic information for coins. It does not give enough detail about mint conditions, and stops recording coins at the late 80's and early 90's. This book will in no way help me to understand the value of my coins or the terms and language of coin values and their sellers.

A source of confusion!
I first saw this book about a year ago and bought imediatly because of this beeing rumored to be one of the better books out there on the subject but to my surprise I found that this book is filled with ALOT of mistakes, Figures are listed under the wrong names and some of them didn't come with the accessories that the author claims that they did - If you are thinking of buying this book then don't - amazon has ALOT of books that are much better at describing the this toyline!

volume III from the same author. It coveres the US electronic warfare history since early 1960s till 2000. This is not a thick book and with more than 20 chapters, so you could image each chapter only takes some pages.
This is not a book full with math, equations and theories. If you are looking for detail data and information of the EW systems in the past 40 years, this is not a book for you.
If you have no idea of those math, equations and theories but you like to know the history of the EW in the past 40 years, especailly during the clod war, with contents not boring, you find a good book to read.
I stopped reading other books and magazines and spent almost three weeks to finish this book. I already had some background reading of modern combat, missile systems and electronic warfare, but I have to say this book really opened my eyes to more interesting history and information of electronic warfare.
The author covers not only the conflicts in the past where EW equipment made things differently, he also covers development of theories and equipment parallel to the cold war and conflicts. You also could find not only how to fight radar system, also how to intercept radio or telementry transmission and find usful information. I believe this book could help readers to understand electronic warfare is not just fighting radar, it's a lot more.
My conclusion : if you alreadt have The History of US Electronic Warfare, then you don;t need this book since that one covers more details. If you don't have that one or you don't need too much details but just some fun, this is the book you would like to consider.
