Mr. Ni, whom refers to himself as an "Achieved Taoist Master" is most decidedely none of the above and an New Ager exploiting the uninformed, whom are unaware of true Taoist ideas. I found this book a waste of time and money...

A previous reader review questions whether Ni Hua-Ching is a "true Taoist".

Taoist ideas have many layers. The Tao Te Ching is mumbo-jumbo to some, but to others it describes a process of "internal alchemy", to others it describes a path of natural living, to others it describes a way to govern ...

Ni Hua-Ching's book seems to properly reflect each of these layers. He does come from a long family of practicioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (e.g. acupuncture). His emphasis on simplicity and naturalness are "true Taoist" ideas. Certainly his is an interpretation, and there are others, but his sits well with me.

NI has very limited knowlege and this book is just more of his new-age Taoism for the gullible and ignorant. People who have studied TCM and Qigong will immediately see that this author is not informed or "Achieved" as he claims to be. Don't waste your money or time with this garbage

I found this book both competent and a useful reference. Not everyone who studies TCM (a weak, Maoist adaptation of classical Taoist medicine to begin with) and qigong will find this fraudlent or without worth. I am well versed in both and found it worthwhile, especially for those new to exploring "the Way" in their lives.

This book should be under new age type books as this author is not genuine and does not appear to know much about the TAO.

This so-called "Achieved Taoist Master" is totally bogus. His recomendations are not even closely related to real Taoism, or Qigong. Don't waste your time.

This author is not a true Taoist in any sense of the word...This book is a collection of old new age ideas that Mr Ni (Great achieved Taoist Master)is trying to sell to the gullible and naive.

This author is not a knowledgeble Taoist and this book is a great example of an author giving misinformation to sell books and line his pockets and the expense of the gullible and naive.
