Antenna Impedence Matching is well written and matched to its target audience.The problem is errors. The book contains four full pages of misprints (errors). The complete list of errors in the front of the book causes problems all the way through. The use of graphs is excellent. The charts are helpful.The reader can learn to match an antenna using this book. Publications from the ARRL are always a bargin. If you buy this book keep your eyes on errata.

This book spends a large part discussing fusion splicing and little on current fiberoptic components. Some of the devices (such as filters and switches) discussed are constructed of bare fibers instead of collimators which is the current industrial practice. But, since there is no better book on passive fiberoptic components today, this book deserves a space on the bookshelves of fiberoptic professionals by default.

This book is bad, the topics are not in depth or well explained. Do not think to buy this book, if you are interested in the field of propagation buy "Mobile Radio Propagation Channel".

The Table of Contents is great, it covers every topic needed for a wireless communications class. But it is deceiving, the topics are not in depth or well explained. This book may be fine for the British with polarisation, but in the US, polarization is the correct spelling. The author may know what his is talking about, but he can't explain worth a darn. Buy a different book, this book has no practical use.

This book covers the field of Antennas and Propagation consistently with great detail. The content is well structured and offers great information for every reader, regardless of technical background.

For whatever reason this musky acidic tome was on your list of 100 top ballet books.

I can pretty confidently give it one star for an original approach, but no more.

I used this text at work to shape a Cassegrain antenna system and i am very dissapointed by it : the first problem is that the theoretical explanations that are linked to the programs are either non-existant or sybilline , the second is the programs themselves that depend on unaccounted for parameters . This make working with this text a nightmare of experience ! Do not buy this book , buy instead Craig Scott "Modern Methods of Reflector Antenna Analysis and Design" and develope your own code and you will finish your project a lot faster !

This book has many errors.
I lose a lot of time in order to find the errors than to read it.
Also it does not exist constantly in what is written, I have the impression that it is notes from different persons.
