Much less dry than the title suggests
This is a well written and concise account of the mechanisms by which wealthy individuals and corporate interests manipulate the legislative process. Anyone who wants to understand why, despite clean-air legislation, we do not have clean air, or why tax cuts always seem to be for other people, should read this book. The authors supply cogently argued solutions as well as detailed analyses of why the political system needs fundamental reform.

Comprehensive tome on wilderness management
Though it does not address the small picture very much, this book provides a thorough introduction to the field of ecosystem management. For vocabulary purposes, readers of this book may be better off with some background in ecology or forestry, but once you understand the words, the subject makes perfect sense.

Dr.Azeem Alam Khan.M.B.,B.S.(QAU),M.Sc(UK),FACP(USA).
I have bought this book thinking that it may be about acute emergergency cases of Dermatology and their management like Angioedema,Pemphigus Vulgaris,Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis,Drug reactions etc ,but it was covering most of the acute and chronic cases of dermatology and their management.
It is an interesting book, precise, too the point and with very clear and well taken skin photographs. It looks quite familiar to "COLOR ATLAS AND SYNOPSIS OF CLINICAL DERMATOLOGY"
I recommend this book to all the dermatologists!

Erin McEwan, Your Days Are Numbered: a synopsis by Madeline.
Erin McEwan, Your Days Are Numbered is one of my favorite books. It's about a girl who is poor in math, but finds a major bookkeeping error in stocks. I can't wait to read Erin McEwan, Your Days Are Numbered again!

Best nighttime book
My children and I regularly go to the library to read and we found this book. I highly recommend this night time book. It's absolutely charming. Both of my children love it, ages 2 and 4. The illustrations are very calming and bedtime inviting. They have a plush monster at Amazon that looks like the monster Ben wants to sleep with to keep him safe. I'm hoping we will be lucky and have both under the Christmas tree this year!!

An Excellent Travel Companion
This guidebook by the Lonely Planet was an excellent companion on my recent trip to India. The information was up-to-date and informative, yet never too wordy or boring. The "text-box" inserts were very entertaining while at the same time useful.

This guide is perfect for those traveling on a budget or those who want to take a "first-class" trip across northern India.

The maps in the book are very useful, as is the information about how not to get ripped off as a tourist. Highly recommended to everyone (of Indian origin or not) if you are contemplating a trip to India.
