The blurb on the back cover doesn't indicate it, but this is a very Christian-centered work. All of the author's suggestions for healing & improving the relationship are cast in biblical terms; at many points in the book, he invites the troubled couple to pray, even providing appropriate text for that prayer. As an agnostic, I found the Christian themes to be distracting, and I feel that they get in the way of my ability to implement what might be good advice. For me, this purchase was a waste.
