I read the book and also went through an 8 week course taught by a woman/friend from my church. We used the video tape, the workbook and the bible, it was the most incredible teaching that I have ever experienced and literally has changed my life in the boundary department. I was always saying yes when I wanted to say no. I wanted people to think I was really nice when all the while I was worn out, stressed out and burned out. Though I am a Christian, I was a new Christian at the time and really wasn't up for something really churchy. It was perfect for where I was at and I would recommend it to anyone whatever their spritual belief's might be. I strongly recommend the video, so you can see what we do to ourselves on a daily basis without boundaries in our lives. Thank you for the opportunity to share this. This book was recommended to me by a friend who works for a counseling call center. It may well become one of the classic books for people to read who need to develop or improve healthy boundaries in their relationships.

There are several case studies or examples of people who have gone through life thinking they were helping others, when in reality, they were actually enabling others to continue in whatever difficulty or struggle they were in, and worse yet, deepen the bonds of unhealthy interactions that have been coined "co-dependent".

I rate this book right up there with Dr. Larry Crabb's excellent book, "Inside Out". It is my opinion that anyone who struggles with how to relate to others in a healthy way (who doesn't?) ought to at least consider adding these two books to their inventory.

Boundaries by Cloud and Townsend does not bash you with a lot of "Christian-ese", but it is written with a Christian orientation. Even those ! unsure of such a foundation ought to consider this book anyway because it rings true. If you have a church library, this book should DEFINITELY be in it.

Dr. Henry has written a great book for men and women! This resource answered all of my questions and gave me answers to questions I didn't even know I had! It was extremely helpful...tells the history of cosmetic facial surgery as well as gives insights into emotional and psychological reasons it is "OK" to go ahead with cosmetic procedures. It thoroughly made me aware of all of the various procedures done today as well as what to expect from each one - costs, recovery time, etc. After reading this book I felt very comfortable with the information and am now able to use it to make some decisions about myself. If you are thinking about any type of facial cosmetic surgery, this book is for you!

From locating the best surgeon to considering costs and recovery, this provides detailed consumer information by a doctor who is herself a plastic surgeon.

I really enjoyed this book and the information provided on these beautiful animals. Very educational and the photographs are outstanding. It helped me to identify the gray foxes which live around my house.

i must say this book gives very good info. I would recommend anyone who is intrested in foxes they have info from the swift fox to red foxes etc...

This book is totally based on Scripture that God will use to change your life if you let Him. There is an amazing peace and freedom that comes from repentence. I know it sounds cliched, but this book really did help change my life.

If you are struggling with a sin that won't go away, this book is for you. Herny Brandt and Kerry Skinner use scripture to show us how to get the cure for sin. Many of us have found temporary relief from sin, but this book will guide you to Scripture that gives the cure. There is a workbook that is for a discipleship class, I took the class-very worthwhile.

I have read "The Ways of God" by Henry Blackaby. I loved this book, it showed me that God's ways are not always my ways, but they should be. I have begun to pray now, God show me your way! It has made a real difference in my life. It has given me peace like never before, and only God can do that. Thank you Mr. Blackaby for your book, it has changed my life immensely!

I did not know how personal and cheap an issue is health care until I read this great book! It is all a matter of lifestyle you choose.
