Stupid people don't ask stupid questions. Smart people do.
A great way to get to know someone!
My fiance (now husband) and I found this book to be a great way to get to know eachother. We found the questions to be somewhat silly, but thought-provoking. I'd really recommend this book to anyone who wanted to learn more about their partner, or to just start conversations in general. It is a lot of fun to go through.
Review of The Little Book of Stupid Questions
I thought this book was very good. Some of the questions were very funny, but I thought that a few didn't make sense. Overall the book was very interesting and funny.

A gentle tale of the value of perseverence
This gentle tale of the value of perseverence is in the best Margaret Wise Brown tradition. Without talking down to young children, she manages to convey the importance of stick-to-itiveness and the great love a young scarecrow boy has for his father. Trying the best he can to live up to his father's work ethic and talents, the little scarecrow boy tries and tries to scare the crows away. Although he fails over and over again, he does eventually succeed and sees that not only is his father proud of him--he is proud of HIMSELF. This is a great lesson quietly told--it's not preachy or high-handed in any way.
Brown's charming tale is greatly bolstered by the color-saturated illustrations of David Diaz. These have a lovely, soft 1930s look that reminds me very much of the illustrations in the original Raggedy Ann and Andy books. I especially like the way Diaz pulls back his perspective on the last page so that you really see why the little scarecrow boy feels, happily, that all is right with the world.
great!
I just read this book to my first grade class and they loved it. It's a great book to introduce the idea of never giving up and feeling proud after a job well done.
The Faces We Make
Margaret Wise Brown has, through this book, shared with parents how to accept and assist children wanting to take risks and explore life. This is also a wonderful book to use as a way of explaining adult jobs to children. It is a way of aleviating children's fear of separating from parents when they go off to school. The author has shared her humor, creativity and I suspect her experiences. This picture book is also considered a predictable book, because there is one verse that is repeated. Enjoy this delightful lighthearted story and see if you can relate to it or to other books that you have read.

A Feisty Little Pointing Dog: A Celebration of the Brittany
A bunch of short stories by Brittany owners sharing their experiences afield with this great breed. Nothing in any way pertaining to the training of a Brittany. A good read for those looking for a quick story. Sadly many stories start with how the authors own dog died.
Showcases a dog breed famous as a hunter's companion
A Feisty Little Pointing Dog: A Celebration Of The Brittany showcases a dog breed famous as a hunter's companion for game birds. Known best as a premier gun dog, the Brittany's skills are truly exceptional and the subject of twenty-six outstanding stories by a variety of experienced and articulate contributors in tribute to this noble canine. Editor David Webb is an accomplished trainer, breeder, and field-trialer who has devoted nearly twenty years to the Brittany and personally selected each story. A Feisty Little Pointing Dog is enthusiastically recommended (and occasionally inspiring) reading for all dog lovers, but in particular to those who have hunted with the Brittany and come to appreciate what this friendly and stalwart animal companions have to offer.

Primer of the Non-Ordinary
This is a fun little book that covers several topics: UFOs (including MIBs), Bigfoot, the abominable snowman and more. If you find this kind of stuff interesting, this is an easy and fun read. I first read this in the 5th grade and went out to buy it several years later. I've never regretted the purchase.

Great book for early readers!
I got this book at our library for my 5 year old who was just beginning to read. I was looking for something that actually had a story that would compell hime to read. Anyway, I handed it to him in the car and he read it cover to cover on our way home. There were maybe two words that he had to have help with. He thought it was funny that the big pig did things the hard way and the little pig used his intellect to make things easier. It really gave him confidence. He has really enjoyed reading it to everybody he can!

Naval Studies
FOr those that missed Disney's Limited Series "Little Mermaid" Comics of 1992, this collection reprints the first two comics. Set as a prequel, it tells the story of how Ariel, on one of her treasure hunts, passes through the Black Chasm to run into the Eel People, who have never seen a mermaid before. Adding to this is the emergence of Aquata, Triton's oldest daughter, who is beset by problems of leadership. Someday she will rule, but she can't get any of her sisters to take her serious. In trying to hunt down Ariel, she, too, is captured by the Eel People and is to be fed to the Serpentine, a giant sea dragon. Ariel rises to the occasion with spunk and determination, resolving a situation with intelligence The artwork is very fine, abetted by Philo Barnhart, the man who came up with the character design of Ariel. It is great for children, who see a more serious and grown-up Ariel. It is nice for collectors for the gorgeous artwork and history of Ariel and her life.

Grover's Guide to Good Manners
This book is a wonderful book to teach children, how to behave and how to respect and apprieciate their elders. After just reading the book once my children were saying "Please","Thank you" and "Your Welcome" all the time. This book is a must have in every household with children.

I May Be Little is big on our "read again list"
I May Be Little is a terrific book. We have the Me Too version which is great for 2 - 4 year olds. The pictures are good for children this age. The story is well told and has not been watered down. David says " I may be little, but with God's help I can do big things."

a sweet read-and-pat book
"I have fuzzy gray fur and a long pink tail. I'm a little mouse. Are you a mouse too?"
Little mouse asks this question of a bear, a fish, a snake, a turtle, and finally of her mother, who replies, "Of course I'm a mouse, I'm just like you. You're my little mouse and I love you."
Our son loves the kiss he gets at the end of this book, and so do we.

Question such as "If you had a third eye, where would you put it?". This is a question that can trigger an intensive discussions with so many possible answers. This is not only where you want 'the eye' to grow out/in on your body, it is also about how you are going to use it. And, this eye is not necessarily part of your body. It can be in Bill Gates' or Michelle Pfeiffer's head. Can the eye be portable or have a wing of its own to be wherever and whenever I want it to be? This one question is a piece of work on its own!
The only reason I gave this book four star instead of five because many questions from the book are not universal. You have to grow up in certain part of the world at certain period to appreciate the questions. For example, a question like "Who is the better boyfriend, Kramer..." You have to see the TV show (I am not going to advertise for it) to know what the author is talking about. These questions are the real 'stupid' ones I suppose.
This book has more values than faults. It can make a great gift for friends, family, or yourself. It can be a perfect 'kill-time' toy, or a primer for a 'Philosophical moment'. Either way, you will be smarter every time you read it. Remember, stupid people don't ask stupid questions. They just give you stupid answers without thinking. Only smart people ask stupid questions, such as "Why apples fell from the tree?" and "Why men have two legs instead of six."
