This is by far the best book on religion I have ever read. The case for Christianity is stated in simple language and the basics of this religion are explained very well. Everyone should own this book.

Within these pages lies the truth about good and evil. As you read this book be prepared to be amazed at the volumes of information that is related to the reader in such a short time. This is the most compelling compact book of the century being around one hundred pages, but within those pages are inspired words that will touch the very heart of any reader. This is an awesome book and a must have for any library.

This book is an incredible step-by-step guide to finding a faith in a loving God. It is both simple and comprehensive at the same time. Extremely well written. I recommend it to any one trying to figure out how to really make that transition from a life of emptiness to a more fulfilling belief in God.

This is a truly remarkable book! I wish I had it when I first learned to quilt years ago. Loaded with great tips and beautiful photographs, this book will not just collect dust on your shelves with all your other quilting "tips" books; it truly is a rare find. I have put several of the tips and tricks presented into use already and it has made my quilting quicker, and more fun. Great gift for beginners (send it along with some fabric!)

This book is a great reminder of tips you may already know and forget to use as well as containing new tips for even experienced, intelligent quilters.

It's hard to buy for my father but when I read this book I knew he would love it. It was so real. He just turned 50 a couple of years ago and he was so down. I wanted some way to let him know that he was still a very important part of my life. The poems are just fantastic. You can understand them. And they are about real life.

I bought this book for my parent's anniversary and had to read it myself before I gave it to them. It touched my heart. My favorite story was about an older man who washes his wife's hair and has since they were first married. It was so beautiful that I cried. I also enjoyed the poems and photographs. Some of them reminded me of my grandparents. I always enjoy the books from Papier-Mache.

We love this little book. Gave us some great ideas to use with all the kids in our life. Several times found ourselves saying "I remember doing that when I was a kid! What fun!" And there were plenty of new ideas, too. Small enough to drop in a purse or keep in the car, this book is loaded with ideas. Would make a super present for a babysitter. The author clearly knows her stuff.

This is a wonderful book with cute illustrations! My daughter asks for it again and again. It is a sweet story of two great friends and a disagreement. The result is not fun for either and they resolve their problem and the fun resumes! We received it when she was 20 months old...right when "being mad" was of great interest to her. It quickly lead to discussions about other people "being mad" and how one's actions can make others angry. She now really understands when she has hurts someones feelings and that her actions have consequence.

It also introduced her the concept of friends and play. Now she says she wants friends when she is "older". It also introduced her to the rhyme "Miss Mary Mack" which we now sing together while she pretends to skip rope. All in all a book that packs a lot of lessons in fun into a few short pages.

This book is sensational. Full of interesting tidbits and gorgeous pictures! Stern was the original Best Bets creator/writer and this book showcases her fine work.

This book is very organized and helpful for finding good children's books. I enjoyed going through the book finding all the books I read as a child and seeing how they were reviewed. This book also gave me ideas on what books I should have my children read when they grow older. I definitely recommend this book.

How many times have my two children asked me to read the Best Excuse? I know it so well it may have been me that wrote the text. This story will charm the reader no matter what age. The illustrations are hypnotic and rival all the classics. I look forward to any new books that Charmain Lee may produce in the hopefully near future.

This is the only one in the series that I have. It is an old version that the Cutco salesmen used to give out to their prospects.

I love it! This is where I learned how to tell if an egg is raw or boiled without opening it (spin it).

Here's another one: "to keep dry onions from sprouting and becoming soft, wrap individually in foil."

Or: For spots on the carpet "try shaving cream. It is ready instantly and is often fore effective than water solutions."

There are literally HULNDREDS MORE good ideas to make life simpler or more tolerable.
