My daughter was 18 months when we purchased this for her grandfather. When he opened it Christmas morning he had tears in his eyes. I know that when my daughter is older and her grandfather gives her the book back (with his life written inside), she will have tears too. The book has beautiful pictures in it and everything will be listed that you might want to know about a grandfather. Just a bit of advice, do not purchase this book if you are not of Catholic/Christian faith. My next purchase will be "Grandmother's Memories to Her Grandchild."

What an incredible catalyst in gaining knowledge into who your grandfather is now, and how they came to be that way. This prompted journal guides the writer to places and things they may have forgotten while allowing for complete individuality. The information I learned from reading my grandfather's responses to this book helped me gain a better understanding of how society has changed through the years. The memories that were told provided unmeasurable insight into my grandfather's life. This journal will be a treasure for my family now and for years to come!

I read The Light of Home cover-to-cover during a cross-country plane trip recently. I was not only encouraged by Dr. John Trent's timeless principles for building a strong family, but curiously relaxed as I enjoyed the images created by Thomas Kincade. Ive already decided that Im buying several more as Christmas gifts. Its such a visually appealing book, I think it would make a great "coffee table" book for my friends and family.

It has such beautiful illustrations and is a great keepsake for your most cherished family memories. If your mom is like mine, she can't remember too far back so this is a good purchase for that reason.

THESE CALENDARS HAVE TO BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THAT EVER HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED! I BUY ONE EVERY YEAR. THE FIRST ONE I BOUGHT, I ALSO PURCHASED THE WOODEN FRAME FOR IT. IT IS IN MY KITCHEN AND NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO WRITE ON IT. I WISH I COULD FRAME ALL OF THE BEAUTIFUL MONTHLY PHOTOS. ANYONE WHO LOVES THOMAS KINKADE'S WORK, SHOULD HAVE THIS CALENDAR. OR, MAYBE TWO!!

This 148-page book is full of inspirational words and heartwarming paintings of beautiful lakes, flowing rivers and secluded streams. Thomas Kinkade really catches the curtains of colors that fall from the heavens in this book. It also encourges, challenges, and refreshes my spiritual life. Some quotes are:

"We can get so serious about life, sometimes that we can wear ourselves-and each other-out. What's your H.Q.(Humor Quotient)? .. There is nothing better than a good laugh!....".

Enhanced vignettes and border art by Kevin Burke, Best Friends makes for excellent bedtime stories and also serves as a gateway to hopefully inspire young folks to track down the classic texts from which it draws. Best Friends is a very highly recommended literary and visual treasure trove for young readers.

After looking at several baby books at the store, the was my favorite! Each page is beautifully designed, and the poems and scriptures are very touching. Thomas Kinkade's artwork is stunning, as always.

This is a great devotional for the advent season (devotional a day). Makes a good gift. If you give as a gift or buy it for yourself, you need to give or get prior to advent season. This way you will be able to enjoy the devotionals throughout the whole advent season. I highly recommend this book!!

The perfect music to have playing softly in the background while doing those holiday tasks such as baking, wrapping Christmas presents or writing Christmas cards. The CD is all instrumental with very familiar carols, and other holiday favorites played with piano and accoustical accompaniment. This was the perfect piece to put in my car's CD player and set off on a long road trip; I arrived rested, relaxed and in the holiday spirit!
