--Amy meets Aly, the "reject clone" - that is, Number 13, the only one of the group without special powers. She sees how normal twelve-year-olds are living and likes it quite a bit, and starts to hang out with Aly's friends and family, who are delighted with meeting their adopted daughter's biological "twin sister"! However, Aly feels that Amy is better at everything than she is, and after trying to climb a Ferris wheel at the local fair to prove she is just as good as Amy, she is injured and the family moves away to avoid Amy's influence. --I didn't especially like this book. The ending is terrible, cruel, and completely unlike the Amy we know. I wasn't satisfied, though the rest of the book was pretty good. --Marisa

Lucky 13
Lucky thirteen is the BEST Replica book yet.It is SO cool how Amy meets Aly and how they devlop a friendship.

So the story is:At a Carnival Amy finds another girl she thinks is an 'Amy' clone, and tries to find her. But, it turns out Aly is the thirteenth clone the 'Reject'.Amy and Aly soon become best friends, and also get in TONS of trouble...

To find out what happens you have to read the book.It is Definetly worth it!!!

Replica #11, Lucky Thirteen
This book, like all the others, was awesome! Amy Candler meets a reject clone from the project where she was cloned, Project Crescent. Her name is Aly and she doesn't know she is a clone. When Amy sees what a normal life Aly has, she wishes that she could have a normal life, too. But she does find her powers to be an advantage in dangerous situations which Aly is involved, and which she involves herself in too. This book is awesome! Replica rules!

THE BEST BOOK EVER
This book is the best book in the Replica series so far, Ithink. In this book Amy goes on a class trip to the national capital,Washinton, D.C., the place she was "born". In this book Amylearns more about Project Crescent. She also learns more about NancyCandler's life, too. If you have not read this yet, go by it. It'sworth it. This is a MUST READ for all Replica fans.

Before . . .
Amy Candler's seventh grade class is going on their annual class trip, and they have gotten a grant that allows them to travel anywhere in the United States. Amy suggests Washington DC, interested in seeing the place where she was created, the place where scientists, including her 'mother', lives were changed forever. Where it all started, the terror and secrets that have been a part of Amy #7's, a clone, life as long as she has been alive.

As well as the story of Amy's trip, we get an insight on Nancy Chandler's life, and why she started working for Project Crescent. Her hopes that her work would someday benefit people like her brother, who's dying from a genetic disease, set her on the path that created the clones. But after meeting another person who worked with the project so many years ago, Amy begins to wonder just how much Nancy has told her . . . and questions her trust in the one person she always thought she'd be safe with.

I thought The Beginning was a thrilling read, a book not to be missed by Replica fans. It tells you the full story of Amy's beginning, and the evil leaders of Project Crescent, and is very exciting.

Amy goes back!
In the 14th book in the Replica, Amy goes to Washington D.C. on a class trip. Her mother, Nancy, chaperones. The place brings back memories as it is where Amy was made and the horrible fire happened and its where Amys life began. A trip down memory lane and you learn what started it all. A must read for any Replica fan....or even if you arent!

I EXPECTED IT TO BE A LOT BETTER
I didn't particularly care for this book. I mean, the whole deal with the neo-Nazis got pretty boring after a while. I knew what side both Annie and Andy were on from the beginning. It was predictable, and it didn't catch my attention that well. I liked the beginning, and the end, but other than that, this book was not that good. I really thought Kaye would do something better.

Andy is back
I really liked this book. One reason is that Andy is in it and so is Annie Perault (I think that is how you spell it). It was not expected or anything. Monica is brought into the series as well. Why I didn't give it a five star is because the plot got weak after a while. I mean neo-nazis in Paris, and that freakish tourguide. A little farfectched, but still a delighful book.

A good book
I really like this book, although Annie Perrault is in it more than Andy, which only made me likeit better (i'm not into romance yet)also it introduces the idea that the organization is not their only enemy. made me wish i spoke french too!!!

A woman related to Dr. James Jaleski, the director of the Project Crescent cloning project, shows up in Amy's life claiming to be her biological mother - according to her, Amy was not one of the thirteen clones after all, but rather, the "blueprint" for the thirteen - the original! She claims that Amy is really Laura Jaleski. Tasha does some Internet research and discovers that Laura actually has a birth certificate! Amy then decides that she is going back to her biological mother and leaves Nancy Candler. Is her choice the right one? --This was one of the best books in the series. I loved how it dealt with Dr. Jaleski's family a little bit more.

Wow!!!
This book, the eighth in the Replica series, was so great!! The plot revolves around Amy, a genetically enginered clone. In this book, Amy sees a car always parked outside her house and when she finally confronts the person, she says that she is Amys mother and that the whole clone story was made up and that Nancy really kidnapped her!! It was one of the most suspenceful books in the series. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, not knowing what was going to happen next! Definitely a must read series! Highly recommended!

Mothers real meaning
This book was great. It was really suspensful and I think that because Camilla takes Amy and tells her she is really Laura Jaleski. I liked how it was all about moms and suspense on who Camilla really is. Is she from the oraganization or is she really Amy's biological mother? You decide. Along the way you get little hints that make it more suspensful. I also likes the epilouge.

pretty good book
A plague is striking mankind, but Amy and Andy and their fellow clones are immune. When they learn of a group of people that can send them back in time, Amy and Andy agree to it, and find themselves going back to the prehistoric era. Amy loses track of Andy but meets up with a group of neanderthals, and befriends a girl named Lucy. Lucy and her friends direct Amy to another camp, one that has aliens and a spaceship. I won't spoil the ending, but this book is fairly good, and you should read it.

Awesome Book!
This was such a great book! I finished it in about 3 hours I was just so hooked. In the 21st installment of the Replica series, Amy goes back to the prehostric era to try to find a cure for a deadly plague that is preading throuhgout the world. While there she meets alot of new friends and learns alot about what it was like to live in that time. Highly recommended and dont forget to read all the other Replica books along with Play: The Plague Trilogy Book Two and Fast Forward: The Plague Trilogy Book 3 that comes out in sometime this month I think.

One Of The Best
I think this is one of the best of the Replica series. It's cool how Marilyn Kaye introduces new concepts and ideas (aliens, time travel, dinosaurs...) in every book she writes, and it makes you wonder what she's going to come up with next.

Interesting Story But Could Have Been Written Better
Each book in this series is not necessarily an entire story unto itself. I found the prose and the characters a bit too simplistic. For example, Amy's mother, who should be deeply worried about her daughter, lets her get involved in all sorts of trouble, saying just, "I can't make your decisions for you, but remember I always love you." This does not sound like the mother a twelve year old girl. And, while the story eventually turns interesting, it takes a long time to get started. Considering the nature of the plot, that Amy is a superhuman clone being hunted by the agency who created her, I expected a little more complexity and excitement.

In this novel, Amy discovers that a movie crew is coming to her middle school to shoot a horror film. The author doesn't take advantage of this scary set-up. Rather, she presents another possible clone of Amy as the stuck-up star of the film. For the rest of the novel, Amy tries to contact the other girl, Aimee. She longs so much to be close to her, another clone, someone who will understand her. She is sure that someone with the same genetics will also be the same in all other areas. But things turn dangerous as Amy finally gets to know the real Aimee.

Another Amy (Replica, No 3)
This is the review for "Another Amy." To make sense of this book you need to read through the series. "Amy, Number Seven" sets the story and the pace. There you meet her friends, mother (relatively speaking), and the organization. Next is "Searching for Amy." In this you find how sinister the series can be. Now you are ready for "Another Amy." This book moves faster than the first two. It also is more concerned with the nature of people and relationships than the first two books. I was wondering how much of Marilyn Kaye is in Amy and how much is just formula writing. There is just a small biography in the back of the book. Any way you better have the next book ready. And beware of blondes bearing crescents.

Heart-Throb reviews
Even if I'm over 12 I LOVE this book. Marilyn Kaye did it again with this third book. The way she is making Amy and Eric come closer is wonderful! The feelings Tasha has is completely normal. She feels that she might be left out of Amy's life if Amy starts dating Eric. In the book Amiee Evans is like the perfect villan. She may look like Amy but is pure evil. The way she says that she wants power(this is when she and Eric are playing golf) is scary. In the chapter where Eric tries out as an extra is way cool because you get a little insight on how much Amy means to him. In my mind this book TOTALLY ROCKS!

Do they really think this?
Real good addition to the Plague trilogy! And seriously interesting theme. I liked how Amy talked to all the genes and they had all their own sectors and everything...it made me think, if that is really what my body is like on the inside! Great book, recommend it to any Replica fan!

Replica is great...
...but I was dissappointed by this one. The length (or lack of) doesn't bother me, but I thought this one was boring and juvenile. I was expecting something more deep and hard-hitting. I'm hoping the next book will be a 5-star, like the rest of the Replicas.

Another Great Replica Book
THIS BOOK ROCKED! AMY GOES INTO TASHA'S BODY TO TAKE OUT THE BAD GENE! THE PLAGUE! ERIC SAID I LOVE YOU TO AMY!!! AMY GOES INTO TASHA'S BODY AND FINDS BUSY GENES AND SQUATTERS(USELESS GENES WHO ARE OUTLAWS AND COMPLELTELY SCARED OF EVERYTHING) AND NO ONE WILL HELP HER! VERY VERY GOOD!!!

Nothing Is What It Seems!
In this intriguing book, Amy is left home with her mom's friend Monica and Monica's friend Sunshine, while Amy's mom goes on a trip. Amy's best friend Tasha goes on a skiing trip with her family, but they need to leave Eric, Tasha's older brother and Amy's ex-boyfriend, home because he has a broken arm.

One night, Amy hears something being thrown at her window. She gets up, looks out, and sees that Andy has been throwing rocks at her window. She invites him inside and he tells her that he ran away from his "dad", who really turned out to be an evil person from the organization. He also tells her that all of the Amys and Andys who were on the island in book #18, Return Of The Perfect Girls, were implanted with a chip that helps the organization know where they are and what they're thinking. They have nowhere to run or hide except for a computer game called Darklands. In order to win the game, they have to go through many dangerous challenges. I gave this book 5 stars because it's one of my favorites in the series. I hated the ending, though. I almost cried when I read it. Don't worry, no one dies. But I won't give away anything else...

Amy enters a virtual world of fantasy and danger.
Amy has found out the truth about her friend Chris. She's given up Eric and is beginning to move on with her life. But she knows that the organization is after her and the clones more than ever because of the failed tropical island project to recruit all the clones in unleashing the organization's plan. After Andy warns her that they've been implanted with a chip and must be more careful than ever, Amy knows that there's only one place to hide - a game called Darklands. Downloaded into the virtual reality where nothing and no one is safe from the Intruders, Amy and Andy have to get herself out fast before it's too late. With Andy's help, she just may be able to escape. But escaping the game will mean winning Darklands, and Amy isn't so sure if that will be easy at all. And is this virtual world only a game - or does it hide a deeper motive? Replica #21: Virtual Amy is a very good and intriguing addition to Marilyn Kaye's unique Replica series. It is a more mature and important book, and I can't wait to read the upcoming Plague Trilogy. Readers who though the series has grown 'babyish' may find that this book deals with more mature matters and deepens the mystery of the entire series.

REPLICA READER
In this book we FINALLY hear from Andy again!! Also another GREAT thing is that Eric warms up to Amy again!! The computer game Darklands is a very popular game. It turns out, when Andy and Amy(along with the other clones in Return Of The Perfect Girls) were on the island, the Organization placed a computer chip in their head. They can actually figure out what's inside the Amy's and Andy's minds!! The only way Amy and Andy can be safe is off of earth in a game-Darklands. It's really cool how they actually go into the game to stay safe. Eventually with Chris's help they escape safe, but the Martin's(Chris's foster parents) have a secret!! In the end Chris and Andy leave to go figure out what the Organization has planned. Tearfully, Amy says goodbye to two of her "boys" while one of them....(ERIC!!) lays a VERY kind reassuring hand on her shoulder. There's a new trilogy out...The first one Rewind is already released...Play is released June 11th and Fast Forward is on August 12th!! Hmm wonder what's going on with the "boys" and if Amy's heard from them?? Have Eric and Amy re-hooked up?(lol) Virtual Amy is a must-read!!

New teacher.....
Ever since Mr. Devons death,Amy has had to rely on herself to survive and stay out of the hands of the organization. Then a New subsitute teacher shows up at school and now things are about to change.Ms.Heartshorn seems to be...well,a little demanding. She has no tolerence for error, esspecially from Amy.Then Amy discovers Ms.Heartshorn has pictures of her, only her.Amy starts wondering why Ms.Heartshorn is really here, but when she finds out she totally freaks.

This is a GREAT Replica book!!!Amy has to deal with Ms.Heartshorn and try to solve the kipnapping of her teacher who is suddenly missing...Read this Book,it is like,TOTALLY worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's up with the new substitute?
Amy and her mom have returned from their trip to Paris, and now it's back to the ordinary routine of school, homework, and hanging out with Tasha and Eric for Amy. But Eric is mad at Amy because she hung out with Andy in Paris. And Amy's favorite teacher, Ms. Weller, is mysteriously absent from school, having been replaced by a really mean substitute, Ms. Heartshorn. Since the substitute seems to be acting especially nasty towards Amy herself, she wonders if Ms. Heartshorn might be from the agency that wants to kidnap Amy because she's a clone. She also wonders if perhaps Ms. Heartshorn is simply a criminal who kidnapped Ms. Weller (who nobody has heard from, apparently) and stole her job. But it turns out Ms. Heartshorn is there for a completely different reason than anything Amy imagined. But does she find out the truth before it's too late? Read to find out! Another great book from the Replica series.

Another awesome Replica book!
In the 13th Replica book Amy gets a new substitute teacher. Amy starts to suspect that her teacher is working for the organization but that is only the beginning. Youll definitely have to read it!

--A nine-year-old child prodigy is coming to Parkside Middle School and Eric, Amy's boyfriend, was chosen to be his helper. Amy soon meets him but wonders about his fascination for people's talents. She also wonders why he lives in such a large house if his parents have only average jobs. Amy realises that he owns a company for customizing one's babies and giving them superior talents. --Although not my favourite book in the series, the science fiction is well played out here.

Not the best of the best, but close enough I guess
Hey, how come my book has a different cover?

Anyway, in this book, little 8-year-old genius Adrian has come to study in Amy's school (I can't remember the name, sorry) in the 9th Grade. Poor Eric becomes Adrian's "big brother" and both Amy and Tasha try to help him out. Adrian is a snobby little kid with a big secret and Amy (thinking Adrian is a victim of child abuse) sets out to save the kid. But guess what? There's a bigger meaning to the "best of the best" when it comes to Adrian.

Adrian's secret was a good one, I think, and the ending was a realistic one (I mean, what do you think would really happen if you tried to tell people about the truth, if this happened to you?). Some scenes were quite typical, but then that's why they happen, except when Amy finds out Adrian's big secret, his actions are a little too much. Anyway, I hope I helped you, it was an okay book. I'd have chosen 3.5 stars.

Cool book in the Replica series.
This wasn't my favorite Replica book, but it was still awesome! Amy meets a nine-year-old child prodigy, but she thinks something isn't right, and she decides to find out what! I highly reccomend the Replica series.
