Great for New Christians from 12-18
I recently purchased three copies of this book for some youthin my Sunday School class who recently accepted Christ. I found thatit covered all of the questions they had and still was on their level! His wit made it very easy for them to learn and urged them to dig in the Bible for answers. It can also be easily adapted for Bible studies with any size group!

The Ethics of Human Gene Therapy

Authors: Leroy Walters, Julie Gage Palmer, and Natalie C. Johnson

Solid and compelling
Walters and Palmer present here a solid argument regarding the impending technology of human gene therapy. They walk through the science carefully, but the core of the book is on the development of criteria for when trials in gene therapy would be acceptable. While this reviewer does not agree with every stand they take, the book will be a classic in the ethics of gene therapy because of its careful argument and thorough analysis.

Fun to read and practical
Provides guidance in seeking answers for questions of identity and mission, such as: Who I am? How am I wired? What's my purpose in life? Does God have a special place and role for me? Authors provide many practical ideas and exercises, stories and tests to answer these questions. Good book for parents, youth pastors, cancellors seeking to give some guidence to teenagers. Wish I could read it when I was 15. It would have save me lots of trouble and wasted years. It's based on LifeKeys guides to self discovery (combines personality preferences, spiritual gifts, special abilities, etc).

Good book!
I really enjoyed reading this book. Well, I'm not really done reading it, I'm halfway through the book, but so far, I really like the book! Everyone should read it, definetly. It talks about many different things. It's basically about the desires of the human heart (taken from a poll of church-going youth) and how God has a specific plan for you to experience each of them. I love this book so far!!!!

I just couldn't put it down
That ,was the most spectacular book I've ever read. It's called , 18 Pine St.No.10 .This book was created by Walter Dean Myer. The setting in this story took place in Brooklyn,NY. A real fictional setting. Although tis book is fictional , the charectors seemed so real. They had real live drama. Plus all the action was described so well. I loved it. I was so happ with th ending.

The End of the World?
It's not always an easy skill to make something so serious and scary, like the Revelation, into such a readable and enjoyable (and extremely funny, believe it or not) non-fiction book. I personally like his humour, particularly when he mocks the devil. But at the same time, he is also able to sustain the seriousness of the whole subject. Not only that. He can put the information in his book to such a readable level that, I believe, anyone can understand it. I would recommend this book to anyone who has interest in knowing about the Revelation, in a simpler version with MORE information.
