Great Spaniels Book
This book is funny and insightful, sad and true. I grew up in the late 50's and early 60's listening to many of these great groups. At the time you did not know that they were being mistreated and beaten out of so much, not just money but writer credits. This is a great book with many factual accounts of what happened to The Spaniels and this book could also echo the plight of many of the other great groups from this era. Hopefully they will now start to get the recognition that they so richly and rightfully deserve. Thank you for offering this book.

Ice Ages and Astronomical Causes
It is not possible to understand the present or future climate unless scientists can account for the enormous and rapid cycles of glaciation that have taken place over the last million years, and which are expected to continue into the future. A great deal has happened in the theory of ice ages over the last decade, and now widely accepted that ice ages are driven by changes in the Earths orbit. The study of Ice Ages of ice ages is very inter-disciplinary.

Image and Value in the Graeco-Roman World: Studies in Mithraism and Religious Art (Collected Studies Series, 551)
Published in Hardcover by Variorum (1996)
Author: Richard Gordon
Amazon base price: $137.95

A superb collection of Mithraic scholarship
This book represents a number of papers by Dr Richard Gordon on the vexed subject of Miithraism. He tackles with scholarly vigour (and sometimes with wry humour) such issues as Mithraic architecture, the cult's liturgy, its conection to Zoroastrianism (which he rejects) and so on. It is excellently illustrated both by photograph and line drawing. Variorum are to be commended for gathering together Gordon's papers in this fashion and making them available under one cover.

The Best of Ternodynamics
Is a book wich explain detaily, all the laws on termodynamics, has a very good examples and excercises. Another issue, it works on International systems Units, and is very good because the world is changing for using that units on all the industries, it has conversion factor for English and metrics units. I recommend it as the best book for the begining on Termodynamic studies.

The BEST book for learning to read tarot!!!
I bought my first deck twelve years ago and avidly began studying them. I read numerous books, and none of them taught you how to read the cards like this book does. It teaches you how to tap your intuitive powers and to be able to read tarot, instead of giving you another conflicting interpretation to memorize. If your only going to buy one tarot book, make this one it!!!

Jump Right In
In a world where there are a TON of method books available for an ensemble its interesting to see one where it comes through so highly contested but comes out so highly successful. By all accounts it should fail, but when used in the field it succeeds every single time.

Wonderful book for adults as well as teenagers!
This listening based book is very helpful in boosting the confidence level of "false beginners" and those who have not really used spoken English very much. It is a good springboard for conversation as well.

The New World of Economics: Explorations Into the Human Experience
Published in Paperback by R.D. Irwin (1978)
Authors: Richard B. McKenzie and Gordon Tullock
Amazon base price: $
Used price: $2.99
Average review score:

A great application of economic theories.
Richard McKenzie does an excellent job of taking all of the dry economic theories that college professors "think" they understand and applies them to real world examples.

Economics is never more "Alive" than it is in this book. This is one of those rare books that brings a lot of loose ends of economic theories together, in easily understandable language. It puts them in real life situations where they make sense.

You don't know as much about Economics as the readers of this book do. Jeff B.

An informatively detailed account
Out Of The Fog: The Sinking Of Andrea Doria is a thoughtfully presented and informatively detailed account of the events that led up to the tragic 1956 sinking of the luxury liner Andrea Doria upon its fateful collision with the Stockholm. Fifty-six people died, the two companies who owned each ship chose to settle out of court, and the lack of documented resolution leaves questions hanging on to the present day. Knowledgeably written by Algot Mattsson (an information officer for Swedish America Line when the wreck happened), Out Of The Fog was originally published as "The Long Night" in 1986; now, this insider's account has been skillfully translated into English and presented to a new generation of readers in this Cornell Maritime Press edition. Out Of The Fog is a confidently recommended addition to 20th Century Maritime History collections and reading lists.
