This book remains on the top of my list of favorites. My wife and I (both fans of the book) have made significant improvements to our financial status in the past two years since reading "The Four Laws". I mean significant! We've paid off $29K in credit card debt, invested the same amount in mutual funds, both are able to max out our 401(k) plans, have met our contribution limits to our Roth IRA's already and are planning our next visit to ski in Austria (...)! That is our story now. It was far from pretty before reading the book. It is important to note, like anything worthwhile, it takes goal setting, planning and follow-through to achieve. This book lit a fire that no other book could. In fact, about 10 of my friends have received a copy of their own as gifts from us. Simply a great feeling knowing that I can control my life and help others to achieve the same experience. Peace, love and happiness!

At last! A finance book I can read like a story! Not boring, lecturing, or intimidating like other books of this nature. This book literally saved my financial future. I am now on the road to debt free prosperity, and feeling great about life. My perspective on money and how I spend it has changed completely.

This is an excellent book. It is less than 120 pages. It reads like a story. Starting with man hacking his fake Xmas tree to bits and ending with financial freedom, a real friend, and a new lease on life! I loved it! I have sent copies to family members who have actually thanked me and implemented what they read! I plan to send out more this year. It's a funny, no-nonsense look at getting out of debt. I think I'll go and re-read it again!

Tailey is a little whale with a big problem. While it is true that his tail is rather large and gives him the ability to soar over the waves, as well as through them, his problem is with a group of other whale kids who are mean and rude. The pod he and his mother Kailey live with has a lot to learn about being fair and friendly.

Kailey and Tailey leave the group and learn to live on their own. Tailey grows bigger and amazingly kind. One day the two hear shouts for help and being the whale that he is, Tailey ends up saving the very whales that had teased him to tears, from a ship of hunters. He is a true friend and offers to teach the others how to be too.

Charles Boyle has written a fun tale that gently guides the youngest of readers to be kind and compassionate. It isn't often that a children's book can pull off a lesson in morality and still be lively and entertaining but Charles has done it. The illustrations of Everett Davidson are warm and inviting and ultimately friendly in their own right. Tailey Whaley IS indeed, a whale of a tale.

I share a lot of books with my preschool classes and this is one of the year's biggest hits. It's on top of the book pile and my kids grab for it all the time. I like its message and the kids identify well with the storyline - a cross between Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer and Dumbo. The moral is subtly conveyed and a good one for these times. I highly recommend it.

Tailey Whaley is an inspiring book. Out of all the books my 5 year old neice can choose for a bedtime story, she picks Tailey....all the time. The illustrations are exploding and the story line exciting and suspenseful. She especially enjoys the fish commentaries which help her to understand the lesson the book has to teach.

The Saga of Galanor crossed the ocean and reached me in a royal blue journey; a typical Brazilian one. I took a day to open the book - I feared it somehow. When I did, the barriers of time vanished and I was thrown into the fantastic realms of Atlantis and beyond; somehow so familiar to me and, until then, so long distanced in my memory. The story is an image poem; and, the book itself is a film! Watch out, it has a magical effect!

Not only is the book a great adventure, it is beautifully put together. This book is amazing in it's artwork, it's format. It is a book like nothing you have ever seen. This is a book that you will want to pass down from generation to generation. I enjoyed it and look forward to the next saga.

Galanor, a strong leader in a fantasic fantasy tale, that will keep you wanting to read about his next adventure.

Although it's a step by step instruction it works like you are the lawyer. We read this and wrote a letter to our broker. The letter was reviewed and we got 22K in returned for our stock that was lost by unexperienced broker.

This is by far the best "Do-It-Yourself" guide I have ever read. It is clear, to-the-point, and comprehensive. All necessary documents, forms and samples are included in the appendices. After completing the book, the reader will have everything needed, including self-confidence, to deal with a dispute with a stockbroker. And, he or she will have had a surprisingly entertaining reading experience!

If you are an honest person who has lost money by the dishonest practices of a stockbroker, you should get this book and follow the steps it will show you.

The book is well-written in clear language for the ordinary reader. I liked the way the authors explain the deceptive practices of some people in the investment business. You may not even have realized what was being done to you at the time; in fact this book may save you more grief (and money) just by alerting you to some of the tricks of the trade. The authors help you see whether or not you have a realistic chance of getting some or all of your money back through the arbitration process (or even through the threat of the arbitration process). They are pretty frank about what does not make a good case and want you to be honest with yourself.

Once you decide that you have a good case, the book gives very practical directions for trying to get your money back. It explains the arbitration process and shows you how it can work for you.It will take a little effort, but should not involve much time or expense. The book gives you a good of idea of how the brokerage firm might reply to your claim so you won't get intimidated or overwhelmed by their answer. The authors remind you of the basic points you want to make: you are an honest and credible person, you tried to prevent the loss, but you were treated unfairly.

One of the chapters in the book is entitled "Time is not on your side". The authors tell you that if you want to get you money back, you should get started right away. I would add that if you lost money because of a dishonest broker, get this book right away!

Colorado is a maze of 4x4 trails and a Mecca for four-wheelers from around the country. You could spend a bunch of time rounding up the maps to navigate the Colorado outback, but you'd still be shooting blind in many ways. Not only does Charles Wells give you detailed and accurate directions, he clues you in to the difficult spots on the trails and offers you advice on how to surmount them. This book picks up where Volume 1 of his Colorado guide leaves off, and between the two books, every trail worth 'wheeling in Colorado is documented. The only ones excluded are those that might have been opened after the book was published and a couple of the most hellish that are best left to rock buggies. As is usual for Wells, the book is easy to carry, easy to use and as accurate as a sharpshooter's rifle. I've four-wheeled Colorado extensively and when the opportunity came to review this book for a magazine story, I figured I could give this book a thorough "test drive." I did, and it passed with flying colors. It actually got to the point where I left all my other printed navigation aids behind when I went 'wheeling in Colorado and simply threw in my dog-eared copies of Colorado Backroads and 4-wheel Drive Trails, volumes 1 and 2. Consider these "one-stop shopping" for a useful guide to the Colorado 'wheeling hotspots.

I planned my entire Colorado vacation around the information in this book. It allowed me to see the Colorado that is not visible from the highway. The author's advice and trail difficulty ratings gave me the opportunity to explore a great number of ghost towns in a time frame that would not have otherwise been possible. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering leaving the road to see the real Colorado.

Generous use of B/W photos, excellent grid and area maps, and a very educational Introduction. Trails are listed by Area, Difficulty and Alphabetically including author's favorite trails. The Trail Descriptions are very detailed so you don't get lost. If you only buy one Guide, this is the one to get.

This book reminds me of Hemingway. Mr. Garnache draws you in and keeps you spellbound without using an overabundance of adjectives which is so common these days. This book is just as delightful to reread as it was to read the first time. The ending, while at first giving you goose bumps, leaves you enraptured. Mr. Garnache posses a true sense of people, which he in turn uses in developing his "characters". This book is a perfect read for anyone who loves to curl up with a book and just enjoy the time they spend as the story comes to life. Enjoy, I did!!!

An exciting story utterly devoid of vulgarity. A refreshing read that well expressed a sense of morality and fair play without being preachy. I especially liked the way the hero and heroine reasoned things out -- as equals -- through their conversations. It's the sort of relationship I hope my daughter finds in real life!

This is a great story and has a super ending. You would enjoy it if you were 8 or 80.

This is a wonderful book. I have read it through at least three times, each was an exciting journey. One of the very best works to be presented about a tattered, crimson stained, page of history...the Vietnam War. It is filled with every facet of emotion. It is a book that I will keep on my shelf and revisit often...Excellent work Charles.

Five Stars isn't enough to express the powerful impact of this book. Charles Patterson has performed a tremendous service to all, particularly to all of America; war veterans in general, Vietnam Veterans in particular, the friends we lost, our families, and those who vilified us. In baring his heart and soul as he has, Mr. Patterson has managed to convey the breadth and depth of emotions--and lack thereof--that a warrior faces. I served two tours in Vietnam, during The Gulf War, in Haiti and again during Bosnia. I'm constantly asked why I continued to volunteer to go to war after being wounded in 1968 during my first tour in Vietnam. I could never adequately explain it. In the future, when asked I'll just hand over a copy of "The Petrified Heart: The Vietnam War Poetry of Charles E. Patterson." I felt like I had stumbled upon a pirate's chest of fine jewels and priceless treasures when I read THE PETRIFIED HEART. Each word, phrase and passage is delicate, beautiful, powerful and crafted into strings of enchanting art. I was both mystified and in awe of Patterson's command and use of the English language. Mark my word, this work will endure as fine literature, long after we are all gone.

I think this was one of the best thriller stories of its time. I personnally think it also is one the best water thrillers ever. I think any who is scared of the water should read this book.

Jaw Maui has much more to offer than your average coffee-table book. It is an incredible blending of inspirational writing and insightful interviews with the watermen themselves. Charlie & Leslie Lyon have done a great job letting us in on the inner workings of these accomplished athletes. Everyone that visits us gets a chance to read Jaws, and has come away mightily impressed (and longing for a trip to Maui!).

I came into the possession of this book, an autographed copy, from a friend of Charlies'; Danny Park of Philadelphia, PA. Danny had talked incessently about his travels and conversations with Charlie and insisted that I read his most recent book, 'Charlie's Thoughts'. Well, being an avid reader,and always enjoying autobiographical writing, I was up for the challenge. What I discovered was a book that I couldn't put down. The story of Charlie's life and all the challenges, failures and amazing accomplishements kept me riveted. It is the rare book that keeps me up at night, not wanting to turn off the light until I'm finished. 'Charlie's Thoughts' is just that type of book. One that will keep you up until the last page turns and leave you with the constant reminder that your life, and success, is for you to make.

An inspired book from an inspired man.

I wanted to first say that Charles Butland is not only an entrepeneur and now author, he is first and foremost my uncle. He sent me the soft cover version of his book and then just recently the hard cover when it went to final copy. He called me the other day to tell me that I could see the rating for his book at Amazon.com.

I have read through the book and found it funny and thought provoking. Most of the things are just distant memories that come bouncing back after seeing them in print. I loved walking down memory lane, and am proud to be associated with the man who wrote this fine book.
