A Believable Biography, warts & all.
John Chapman (Chappo to everyone who has heard of him) is a rare Australian. He is as Australian as the day is long and is keen to tell people about Jesus. This Biography, by a senior Australian Lawyer, no less (Michael Orpwood is a QC, or Queen's Counsel) tell the Chappo story from his youth in Southern Sydney through the formation of the Department of Evangelism, right up to his retirement. Possibly the best known Evangelist Australia has produced, his style is unmistakably Aussie. You should also try to read his two books 'A Fresh Start' and 'Know & Tell the Gospel).

Interesting and accessible
A good range of essays about Richardson's key films. Most of the essays are easily read (not overly academic)--the work with TOM JONES is especially solid. Recommended as an overview of a talented man's career

SYBEX HAS DONE IT AGAIN...ANOTHER GREAT STUDY GUIDE!
THE CNE-4 STUDY GUIDE, PUBLISHED BY SYBEX, IS ANOTHER GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE QUALITY WORK THAT IS DELIVERED FROM SYBEX. THE AUTHORS OF THIS BOOK HAVE DONE A GREAT JOB IN ARRANGING THE CONTENT IN A MATTER THAT IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND FOLLOW. THIS STUDY GUIDE HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO PASS YOUR CNE 4 EXAM. THE CNE-4 STUDY GUIDE IS VERY COMPREHENSIVE, ALLOWING FOR THIS BOOK TO NOT ONLY BE USED AS A STUDY GUIDE, BUT AS A REFFERENCE MANUAL FOR HOW-TO INFORMATION WHEN ADMINISTRATING OR SUPPORTING A NOVELL 4.1 NETWORK. ANOTHER GREAT FROM SYBEX

Amazing book
Being a history student I may be a bit prejudiced, but I loved this book. I've read countless history books and many of them are incredibly dry. This book was engaging and interesting. I highly recommend it for a crash course in Colorado history.

What an introductory book on combinatorics should be
Little did I expect of a book that has seemingly not garnered that much attention among professors and students (at least the lack of reviews in Amazon.com might serve as a confirming instance of that speculation), but come exam time, the book proved that such prejudice is outright foolish.

The authors must really love both the field and writing about it, for their overflowing exuberance readily transfers to the pages. Pictures and humor are never a scarcity here: the authors took no shame providing both; a curious but pleasurably fresh anomaly in the often dry and coldly serious world that is mathematics writing.

Good study of vernacular architecture
This collection of essays and articles is essential reading for anyone interested in America's architectural history. Classic articles on ways to examine architecture in relation to cultural geography are featured prominently in this volume. There are also important pieces of work that link architecture to the history of various ethnic groups, and I especially enjoyed articles that deal with contemporary forms of vernacular expression. This is an important book for anyone interested in the study of folklore, history, art history, and architecture. It could also be useful for practicing architects to read the essays for ideas to inspire their own designs.
