Images of America Cedar Grove
This is a very high quality pictorial describing places, people and events in Cedar Grove, N.J. A very well done specialty item that should appeal only to those who are interested in Cedar Grove, Essex County or New Jersey history. For any of you who were raised there, as I was, and moved away, as I have, this book is just wonderful for the memories. Best of all, no Sopranos here, although the popular HBO program is set primarily in Essex County.

Fabulous Example of Constructivism in Action
This is a fabulous book, whether you are learning about Narrative Curriculum and Constructivism for the first time or just looking for real-life examples of them in use. This book is accessible and interesting and does not require a degree in education to be understandable and intriguing.

The authors used Narrative Learning and Constructivism to guide the educational experiences at a local laboratory school. They use their book to illustrate that journey, combining a discussion of the theory with real-life examples and pictures of its practical use.

I would definitely recommend it for anyone who is interested in education, instruction, alternative teaching methods or learning in general.

Excellent Book for begineers and practicing engineers
It is an excellent book for beginners who need a good understanding of the basic unit processes associated with a standard microelectronic foundry. It gives a quick reference to almost everything in modern processing and refers to a variety of textbooks and journals for further information. In summary, this is the book you must have if you are in the semiconductor profession and require a quick but useful reference to almost everything in the business.

Unforgettable stories of conflict and honour
I read this book more than 20 years ago, and some of the stories have stayed in my mind ever since. 'Nur auf Sizilien', 'Die Flut war pünktlich' - strong characters who act as they do because of what they perceive as honourable and right, and strong conflicts resulting from this. Siegfried Lenz is one of my favourite authors: but of all his short story collections, this is the best.

A delightful, heartwarming, highly recommended story.
Ably written and nicely illustrated by Jennifer Seidel, Jaeger Finds A Family is the delightful and heartwarming story of Jaeger, a Labrador retriever living in a dog pound who is adopted by a loving family. Young readers ages 5 to 8 will not only be thoroughly entertained, they will encounter the clear message that no matter how many parents or siblings live with them, they are still a vital and welcome part of their family. Highly recommended.

Every Mother Should Read This Book
I grew up in the area of Montana whereof this book is written. In fact, I was there at the campsite where Mrs. Jaeger's daughter was taken during the time period covered. I was one of the children that Mrs. Jaeger came to realize were saved by the loss of Her Child at the hands of a man who had murdered several children through the years.

I read this book cover to cover in a couple of hours. What a tremendous struggle and glorious victory over evil in this world because of this one woman's willingness to not only bear the cross, but to search the scriptures, pray steadfastly for guidance, and be willing to move forward in that process. A wonderful, wonderful book of love, spiritual growth, true Christlike compassion and forgiveness. I'll never forget it!

Psychometry, a practical and spiritual consideration
Have you ever held a certain stone or old well worn, well loved peice of jewelry and wished it could speak to and tell you its story? Bevy C. Jaegers, who wrote "Psychometry - The science of touch." was once a young skeptic researching the field of ESP for the purposes of debunking it until she held a few objects in her hand and began to describe the people places and events surrounding the objects.

Intrigued and ever practical due to her family's police background, Bevy found she was able to learn psychometry and reproduce results in a reliable fashion. She began teaching others and then wrote this book. "Psychometry, I have often said, and will continue to say; is the easiest of all the psi talents to learn. It is one everyone can do, and do well."

She discusses what psychometry is and how it works, demystyfiying and disconnecting it from any sort of mysterious or occult nature. She teaches that all objects are made up of atomic particles and give off some kinds of energy that we all can access. This is the basis of the work that she and the Psi Squad does for law enforcement agencies, archaeologists and investment firms worldwide.

The book is filled with examples and practical exercises that are easy and fun to do. She offers a simple yet thorough process using six simple words that will help any novice attain success in their first efforts at psychometry.

She is one of the early people to link science and spirituality. Using the process of psychometry as a way to open the minds eye, one can open the door in the mind that links us to our relationship with the universe.

I've met Bevy at the Remote Viewers conference this past May and enjoy her practcal and no-nonsense approach to ESP. She is a self-taught individual and is the author of fifteen books and several dozen feature articles appearing in the national press and magazines. "Psychometry - The Science of Touch", is a must for my reference book collection. Terry Fischer

Trailcraft: Not just for the Naturalist
This extensive text on animal tracking is and excellent resource on different track identification and animal behavior, from birds to reptiles. What I found particularly of interest to me was the chapters on fossil tracks, reproducing tracks and Indian tracking. Definitely a good book for the tracker weather you are an expert or beginner.

For those interested in going beyond typical palmistry
I've read several other palmistry books - from channelled texts to encyclopedic - this one was an easy and informative read.

For those who are just beginning to pursue an interest in palmistry (a/k/a hand analysis), this text approaches the subject more from the scientific/medically-proven case studies for which ample data is provided to persuade or assist the reader in its viability. If you are "on the fence" regarding palmistry, this text will help to push you over to the other side.
