The only thing that saves this movie from putting you to sleep are the 2 main stars, Alyssa Milano & Ice-T. There isn't any storyline that hasn't been done before & as for twists, the only twists in this movie will be your stomach churning from feeling like you've seen this before.

This movie was so good. I say this is a must see movie for evreyone especially Millano fans.

This movie starts out as a young couple driving to the husband's family's house. When they get there, [Alyssa Milano] immediately finds out that the husband (i forgot his name) is not well appreciated. So they go deep into the basement to talk, and end up making love. While they are having sex, they hear commotion upstairs. They find that everyone upstairs has been killed. Then [Alyssa] soon finds out that....well I can't spoil the movie but it's great despite Alyssa's seemingly massive rash of low-budget movies. (I like her in Charmed on the WB)

A book of this size is necessarily going to have to cut corners and sacrifice in-depth analysis, but for its size, it very precisely and matter-of-factly explains the meaning and philosophy behind almost every basic Buddhist teaching. Not all will agree with its repeated admonitions to not take such things as rebirth, the realms of existence, the bardo, and deities "in a crude sense" (i.e., literally), but it would be hard to disagree that it still treats such subjects fairly and accurately.

This book would be a good launching point for a beginner, but certainly not an end in itself. If you're new to Buddhism, come here to get a rough outline of its doctrines, and if your interest is piqued, move on to "An Illustrated Encyclopedia of Buddhist Wisdom," "What the Buddha Taught," or "The Essence of Buddhism."
