You Won't Find a Better "Relief Handbook"
I have suffered the painful symptoms of fibromyalgia for 7 years. But thanks to The Fibromyalgia Relief Handbook I am free of symptoms. No more muscle pain, no more "hurting all over" no more sleepless nights. I feel like a new person. How did this miracle happen? I simply followed a few simple relief tips covered in the book. Simple tips like adding certain nutrients to my diet and eliminating specific foods. What's more the book is written in plain, simple English.

Comprehensive
This book is one of the most helpful for those with fibromyalgia. Chet Cunningham is not out to sell you one specific treatment. He gives you information on many many different ideas and suggestions for you to review and try. This is very helpful because no one treatment is going to help every single person. Another great thing about this book is that he writes it in a simple fashion. So, if you suffer from fibro fog you can still understand what he is telling you! I highly recommend this book to people with fibromyalgia, I doubt you will regret reading it.

Outstanding Guide to Fibromyalgia
If you suffer from Fibromyalgia this book is for you. It deals with typical problems, like chronic muscle pain, fatigue, memory problems, sleeping problems, headaches, numbness, tingling, etc. and give you the latest information on its potential causes, treatments and how to alleviate symptoms.

The best thing about the book is that it offers alternative solutions that can help bring relief, where traditional medicine has been simply inaffective, including therapuetic massage, relaxation, exercise, nutritional advice, and more.

Written in an easy to understand manner and format, this book is definately worthwhile.

The Best of Chet
Anyone who has followed the career of Chet Cunningham will recognise in Nuke Down the qualities that have made him one of the best writers in the men's adventure genre, even if he is arguably the most underrated. Multiple plot lines, far-ranging and fascinating research, interesting villains, and compelling heroes of both sexes give you a terrific ride. Chet always gives you something extra in his books, some special angle that sticks with you after you've finished the last page. For those of you who are interested in writing books in the genre, Nuke Down is a textbook example of how to write action and how to manipulate action to entice the reader forward. At the center of the book is a thrilling story of terrorism seen from both sides. It's a rip-snorting read that will make you want to read more of Chet Cunningham's fiction.

Fun & escapist reading
Former CIA director reclusive industrialist J. August Marshal understands the blight of terrorism. Unable to idly sit by, he decides to form the Specialists, a cadre of law enforcement types around the world willing to cross the legal line to stop a terrorist from succeeding. Former CIA field agent Wade Thorne heads the group with Kat Killinger his second in command.

After some scenarios in the Middle East, the group proves it is an impressive fighting unit. They soon learn from an action on Iraqi soil that the "Big One' is planed for American soil with a six to seven digit death goal. Checking alternate source that confirm the reality of the threat, the Specialists try to find out what is really planned so they can stop it before hundreds of thousands of innocent people lose their lives.

Anyone, who enjoys an action-packed, explosive post-Soviet Union thriller will definitely want to read THE SPECIALISTS: NUKE DOWN. With so much going on, the readers never get to know the characters that well except how they react to danger. Chet Cunningham is the ultimate equal opportunity writer as he sends female commandos into the same scenarios as their male counterparts without a thought towards gender. This well-done novel will remind readers of Jack Higgins works placed inside a pulp thriller.

Tokyo Purple/Northwest Contract (Double Penetrator)

The Penetrator is a hilarious throwback to trashy 70s novels
I got what I expected with this double novel--a lot of good laughs at the expense of the outdated racist, sexist and homophobic ideas contained within. The prose contains some true "gems" of bad literature; for example:

"Her photographic memory seemed out of focus or overexposed."

"Mark turned, oriented himself (grinning as he thought about using that term in Japan)..."

If you take this book at face value I would guess you would hate it. If you treat it as inadvertent self-satire, you'll never stop laughing. I know I didn't.

Macular Degeneration Discussion Inadequate
Remarkably this book has only one chapter on macular degeneration. Other eye diseases are discussed in chapters that follow. Useful descriptions of macular degeneration research or ways to achieve living independence are lacking. Heavy emphasis is placed upon nutrition therapy. I found other books to be of more value in understanding the role of nutrition strategies in preserving sight and practical ways to follow them in daily living. This book alone will not fulfill most needs.

Down to earth and extremely helpful...
Provides concrete advice for those who have researched "fix-it" methods and found them wanting. Definitely for those who are interested in natural means to retard degeneration of remaining vision.

Offers a natural alternative to losing vision!
My eye doctor told me I suffered from macular degeneration and I would gradually lose a good deal of my eye sight. He said there is no treatment for the condition that he was aware of. This book offers a natural alternative to losing vision. The book is based on fairly substantial research. The book gives you a detailed program of proper food and nutritional supplements that have been successful in halting the progression of this problem and even reversing its degenerative eye-sight robbing effects. I've started the program. While it's too early to report improvement at least I now have hope of improving my condition. The book is written for the lay person and is very easy to read yet packed with information.

Great tool for teaching
I use this book to teach video screenplay techniques to high school students. The shots list and storyboard are very clear, and students find them easy to follow. The book is great for teaching students to understand the level of detail needed to produce a great video product.

Gold Wagon (Nightingale Series)

Author: Chet Cunningham

Too much fiction to be plausible
The storyline with Jim Steel, the main character, has some events that are just too far-fetched for a true western (i.e., Jim rescued in a bar-room brawl by callgirl Adele packing a Greener rifle, or Jim kidnapped by three females). The tidbits of history scattered through the story were interesting (i.e, Jim's reminiscing his service under General Sherman, and Sheriff Luke Tabor being asked to work for the Pinkleton Detective Agency). The book is entertaining for a reading pastime, as the storyline moves along, seldom bogs.

Viewing the total experience
The Battle for Wake Island inspired a nation after the horrendous loss at Pearl Harbor. This is a remarkable compilation of first hand experiences, both by the author and the men of all ranks who fought alongside. The smoke and haze of battle prohibits any one person from experiencing the whole. Cunningham cleverly weaves the stories and memoirs of his fellow Wake Island defenders into tapestry that gives a remarkable vision of this heroic defense.

Taken as prisoners, the men were enslaved in the highly profitable Japanese War machinery, enriching companies like Mitsui and Hitachi. The savagery and endless brutality of the Japanese against the POWS became an a living hell. Truly, Cunningham has written the personal answers of so many to the question: "What really happened to these gallant men?"

Regrettably, little is said of the gallantry of the civilian construction company employees, many of whom were equally gallant defenders.

This book hardly helped me at all!
When I bought this book I though that I was buying a book that would help me lose weight. But instead, I bought a coaster. I only told me one exercise that I didn't know. If you really want to lose weight, all you need is will power and a little determination.

Boy, if only I was younger...
This book was pretty good, however, it was written, in my opinion, for a third grader. The typeface and language is VERY simple. I was almost insulted by how the author was speaking in this book.

Tells you how to burn the flab from your midsection!
I have tried almost every divice, gadget and machine to deflate my unsightly pot belly. Nothing seemed to help even though I have spent hundreds if not thousands to get a flat stomach. This book tells you what "fat burning foods" help get rid of the fat and flab that cover your abdominal muscles--and slims the rest of your body at the same time. This book has been a miracle to me. I can now actually see my abdominal muscles. I'm actually getting tired of hearing the compliments from friends and family. The best thing is--if the book does not flatten your belly you get every penny of your money back. So you deflate ONLY your belly and not your wallet. I not only have a flat stomach--but I have also lost 30 pounds in just 104 days.

Not Very Useful
Unfortunately this book is filled with mostly useless information. If you've read about sciatica on the web, and have seen a doctor or chiropractor about it, you probably have more information than this book offers. It's filled with information about other alternative treatments, but the author doesn't offer any useful opionions - only that 'it couldn't hurt to try'. I don't have time or money like that to waste on 'it couldn't hurt treatments'. In addition, he does have some recommended exercises for sciatica patients. I tried these exercises and my sciatica flared up even worse. So why did I give it any stars? Well, if you know nothing about sciatica, there is some information that you might find useful, just beware about the suggested exercises!

Outstanding--packed with vital info not available eleswhere!
This book has changed my life for the better. Sceptical at first, I tried some of the natural and alternative remedies outlined in the book. To my amazement one particular simple exercise described in the book virtually eliminated my sciatica symptoms. This was after spending thousands going from doctor to doctor and chiropractor to chiropractor. Thank God I found this book. I would recommend this book to anyone suffering from sciatica or lower back distress.

a helpful introduction for general readers
In-depth information on sciatica is hard to find, yet supposedly, thousands of people suffer from it every year. This book provides a great deal of information without getting too technical, including a description of what happens when you visit a physical therapist for help. The author reviews both conventional and alternative treatment options, including simple ways to prevent flare-ups. Nothing else in print really compares!

The Specialists: Plunder

Made for Hollywood
Cheezy dialogue, obvious plot, predictible characters, gratuitous violence, completely out of touch with what goes on with the real special ops people, this has all the ingredients that appeal to those who rely on Hollywood for their "literary" venue. Yes, this is fiction, yes fiction is supposed to be entertaining. But what age group is the author trying to appeal to?

Specialists - Plunder
This book was a wounderful read. Fast paced with a lot of action. Well done. I am looking forward to the next book.

Reads like an episode of "Mission Impossible"
In Kettering, England lies Castle Baldemere, the home of American billionaire J. August Marshall. Although reasonably famous for his entrepreneurial successes and his philanthropic donations of money and time, Marshall is better known in the gray world inhabited by spies and secret agents. For a decade, Marshall headed up the CIA, but quit when he felt his agency had too many bosses pulling its strings for personal advantage.

Marshall formed an elite counter-terrorist organization THE SPECILAISTS that consists of six agents who will do whatever is needed to complete the job. Currently, the group is in Berlin investigating why George, a cross-country motorcyclist, had an accident while riding his bike. George was seeking information on the person who accepted a bribe to get his Jewish grandfather into Switzerland in 1942. The team learns that a special German squad made millions in exchange to spiriting people out of Nazi Germany. These bribes allowed this group to start businesses just after the war. Today their companies make up twenty-five percent of the Germany's economy. The SPECILAISTS have two goals: (1) Obtain reparations for the descendants of the ripped-off Jews; and (2) Stop the appointment of one of them from being named Minister of Finance.

THE SPECIALISTS: PLUNDER reads more like an episode of the TV show Mission Impossible. The story centers on six individuals with no government sanctioning going up against seemingly impossible odds to right a wrong. Except for a bit on Marshall, the other characters (team members, the German bribe squad, and the victims) never are developed. Readers who want action, action, and more action will not miss that at all because Chet Cunningham provides that and even more excitement.
