I can tell you this is probablt the hardest book you'll ever read. Its uses differrent language that you cannot understand. The boy Jethro talks so wierd my mom couldnt even understand. If you have this book as a book report tell the teacher everyone who read it told you it was hard because it really is. I have a Civil War book report due and I picked this book because my brother read it but he's some kind of genius. So I hope this will help you to pick another book.Unless your in Middle School or 8th Grade this book is way to hard unless your some kind of genius.

This is a very good book and the writer has great taste, it is boring at first though. I know that i wouldn't want my book to be talked bad about, so I will say that you should definitely get this book, but don't expect something right off the bat. Read it and about in the middle, it'll get good!

This is not a game worth buying. This is not a game worth ordering. This game is not worth looking at. This is the exact reason why you shouldn't ever click on books you've never heard of.

This is the utterly stupid, bizzarre, non-playable, lackluster, and pointless game that bankrupted TSR.

Postmodernist thought has its kernels of truth and insight, often afloat in a sea of verbiage only its writer may understand. Wouldn't some clear explanation of what is going on be refreshing? In this "Encyclopedia" one won't find discussions of ontology or deconstruction, however, but a loosely collected several dozen essays of mixed quality, ranging towards sickening. Very few are insightful, most are self-indulgently evasive, and some are infuriatingly fatuous. Nearly all will pick some notion read from a newspaper headline, a few minutes in front of the tube or a tabloid magazine, and then descend in cycles of increasingly tangled verbiage restating the same idea until the reader is completely frustrated. In few cases do the writers show actual understanding of their topic. The worst offender seems to be the editor himself, who is recognized even by dedicated postmodernists as one of their most mind-numbingly meaningless generators of confusing obfuscation. Many of the points he talks to death are cynical exploitation of postmodern themes, the kind of abuse that will drive it into the ground. He is an equal-opportunity ridiculer: trashing the innocent and unassuming along with the famous and pretentious. Few targets escape the splash of bile. It's enough to leave the reader feeling ill for days. This book has no significant insight, is uninteresting and barely understandable.

It is not even a good read.

I find this book disappointing. Firstly, one fourth of the book is taken up by the author's travel accounts. It's a different story when an author gives some background to each recipe. But it is not the case here and I find the result of those two books rolled into one very awkward. Second, and more annoyingly, many recipes rely on meat substitutes. I have always found it sad and the sign of a certain lack of imagination when vegetarian cooking tries to mimick meat-based dishes. It is particularly regrettable in a book on Turkish cooking which has a rich tradition of NATURALLY vegetarian dishes. Which is why I ordered the book in the first place !
