Have only looked at the pictures. They are beautiful and inspirational.

I was a student at Cal State Fullerton, where these professors teach. This is the worst textbook I have ever read. The text is poorly written. The book doesn't read well and has many typos. I would have expected more from the Management Science Department Chair.

This is a nobel effort. to try to do a very hard thing. The author however is very hard to follow and at times the explanations drifts into incoherance. Also, I think the author may be too brilliant to write for the average student. He might be better served by having a grad student or military trained person break down the book into coherant steps. This book has some gems of useful info, trapped in some bad explainations. The next version of this may be a truly great textbook. My advice to the author is to simplify and go step by step. Delete text and runon paragraphs where possible. If you take a class based on this book, insist on a lab and a helpful grad student.

It is very nice text book. That what i can say.

I found that the book sheds little light on the mystery of Stonehenge. Because Fowles is a renowned novelist, I found that the book was more like a story than a source of information. For a nonfiction work, it lacked concrete support. Also, it says little about the actual Stonehenge. It says more about the other events of the time. The only reason it was added to other scholarly works about its subject was because it came from an author that lived near it and experienced the majestic power of Stonehenge during the time when it was most popular.

If one is looking for an honest, unbiased biography of the great fundamental preacher Frank Norris, as I was, this is not the book to purchase. It is just a waste of your time and money. The author quickly identifies himself as a modernist and a hater of Biblical fundamentalism by his comments regarding Frank Norris. The further I got into the book the worse it got. His attack on Frank Norris is bad enough, but his misinterpretation of fundamentalism and the Bible just go too far. The author is, of course, entitled to be a modernist and not to believe that the King James Bible is the inerrant Word of God, but should not disguise his opinions in the title of the book. This book makes me have second thoughts about purchasing any more books over the internet.

This book was good in giving you the basics facts of Norris' life, but it left me wanting a more in depth biography along the lines of the one of Jimmy Swaggart done a few years ago. If you want to know the highlights, and low lights read this but if you can just check it out of the library.

This book is poorly written and won't be very useful to most readers. The authors are not, by any measure, distinguished scholars, and that is unfortunately reflected in the quality of the work. The economic analysis is extremely weak, not very relevant and not very thoughtful. Readers would be much better served by referring to journal articles published in this area and completely avoiding the text.
