Sunset Glitter
This was a really good book. Sam, Emma, and Carrie go to New York. Sam gets a part on Broadway, Emma does some modeling and Carrie does fashon photography. Danny Franklin comes back into the picture for Sam as does Adam. All I can say is that they have a lot of fun in New York.

Great book if you like teen conflicts and teen fiction.
I have read many books before, I really enjoyed this one, among many others, pertaining to the Sunset Island series, all of which I liked. This one in peticular involves Sam mainly, where she is trying to win a beauty pageant. It is funny, amusing and interesting for those who like teen fiction novels. I recommend it. There were better books in the series, but I really enjoyed this one as well.

A Great Book.. worth reading!
This novel, The Accident, is a thrilling mystery that adds an element of intrigue to it. It makes you want to keep reading to find the clues they give you in the book. Four kids were at a party and they got in a accident. They had been drinking a lot, they were driving home and they got in a collision. This book is very well-written, dropping indications along the way to help solve the mystery. Todd Strasser has once again written another great novel.

This book shows consequences!
This book shows the consequences of drunk driving. Matt and Bobby were best friends, but Matt feels kind of secluded since Jason came along. Then one night Bobby gets in a car with friends who were drinking. All but Jason are killed when their car slams into a ravine. Soon, Matt finds that everyone seems to be hiding something about the accident. He gets clues from a friend's brother who works for the police department. But Matt must find everything out on his own. What will he uncover?

This book is a page turner and very worth reading!

The Accident
The Accident was a thrilling mystery and it dealt with drunk driving. It wasa dark, icy night when five drunk teenagers flew off a ravine;only one survived. Matt is the main character in the book who suspects that something was wrong that night. Chris was also a character who died that nihgt from drunk driving. everyone suspects that he was the one driving since he was known to be a "bad guy". All of the people in the town vanalize Chris's home. Meanwhile, Bobby Stewrt was Matt's best friend, and one of the five who died that night. The Stewerts are a rich family who are donating a pool tot he school. It appears as if they have something to cover up, so Matt is trying to figure out what's going on and who was driving that night. This book taught me never to drink, because if you do, you will have to face the consequences which are destructive and can lead to death. I recommend this book to people who are interested in mysteries and who want to find out who was driving.

not worth the time
I am usually interested in medical drama, but I almost gave up on this book after the first few pages. The language was choppy and stilted. It was supposed to appeal to teenagers, but I am a teenager, and it just sounded fake. I don't think anyone actually talks like that unless they are in Beverly Hills or on TV. It was a soap opera in book form. Just the names of the characters would tell you that -- Zoey, Tristan, Summer... The plot was choppy and I didn't feel like the characters were developed enough to feel any connection with them. There also wasn't very much actual medical drama...the book focused more on the interaction between the SCRUBS and the mean doctors. Finally, the ending was pure gimmick, and while it was a cliff-hanger, it didn't make me want to read the next book.

Cherie Bennett usually does MUCH better than this!
Five teens are selected to work in a SCRUBS program as as pre-interns in a hospital the summer before college begins. Narrated by two of the characters, the first book in this new series alternates between Zoey and Tristan, with no rhyme or reason to who's turn it is to speak. Zoey and Tristan hate one another at first sight then become friends, then decide they like one another, but neither will admit it. And anyways, Tristan is doing the polished and sophicasted intern, Summer. How very Dawson's Creek. None of the characters are sympathetic, and I could care less what happens next. One character falls for a terminally ill patient with no explanation or romance. Summer may be cheating on Tristan. I was especially annoyed by girl-next-door type Zoey, who kept "psuedo swearing" (saying fluck instead of f**k, etc...). If you are looking for good series romance, try SVH: Senior Year by Pascal or Making Out by Applegate.

One of the best books I've ever read
I have read a few of Cherie Bennett's books, and then one Trash book by Bennett and Gottesfeld, but so far, I have to say this is the best of the books by these two great authors that I have read so far. I have yet to read the rest of the books in the University Hospital series, and believe me, I WILL read every single one of them!

Finally~a book on reincarnation for young teens!
Okay, this book is a lightweight. BUT . . . that's a strengthif you're a twelve year old. It has the facts straight, and introducesideas to kids who've stopped listening to Mama. Buy the book and let someone else do the talking for you~then read it yourself and have a conversation with your daughter~priceless! (We've given this one as a gift & gotten good feedback.)

Lying gets you into trouble... as always
Beautiful twins Becky and Allie Jacobs start their jobs as CITs at glamorous Club Sunset Island. The classic plot of lying-gets-you-nowhere is the basis of this novel. Cherie Bennett, who usually dazzles with her quirky, sharp writing, succumbs too quickly to the cliché trap. At the very start of the book, during the roundtable introductions, Becky immediately is so self-conscious she invents a new mother, since hers left her as a child. The story rapidly tumbles downhill as the plotline collapses. Naturally, the deception is figured out and the actress playing 'Mommie Dearest' starts dating the twins' father. I was left cringing throughout the entire ending of the book, where Daddy suddenly makes a surprise appearance at Parents' Day to see the twins and their newly-hired Mom.

I am a huge fan of Ms. Bennett's works, and I was looking forward to reading a story from the twins' point of view. But I was disappointed by the clichéd storyline and clumsy procedure. If you're a fan of Cherie's, and her popular Sunset Island series, skip this number. It just doesn't mesh with the rest.

Not one of her bests books
I don't know, I just didn't like the plot and the way it was written. I like the Sunset Island books, they're awesome, but this series is flat out boring. I stopped reading half-way, I was so disgusted. It lost my attention. Sunset Island rules, They are # 1- would recommend to anyone my age.
