This book is a classic from my high school years. I read Sunset Kiss first and I was sucked in from the start. This book is the one that started it all, and I high recommmend it if you like the sweet romance sort of book. The writing is superb, and Cherie Bennett has a been a great inspiration for my own writing.

Along with two of her new friends (Samantha "Sam" Bridges and Carolyn "Carrie" Alden), eighteen-year-old Emma Cresswell has been hired as an au pair on Sunset Island, a tiny island off the coast of Maine where the rich and famous like to vacation. Emma is excited about her new job, and not just because it's her first one. This her big chance to create a "normal" life for herself. Having been born into wealth, Emma would never have to work a day in her life, but she doesn't feel comfortable with that kind of lifestyle anymore. By coming to Sunset Island, she hopes she can shed her ice princess image and become a typical middle-class girl. Yet that's easier said than done. Her secret barely survives a week when one event after another threatens to expose her--a girl on the island (Lorell Courtland) recognizes Emma as part of the "in" crowd, and then, her mother's promiscuous artist boyfriend (Austin Payne) shows up at the island unannounced. "Sunset Island" is the first book in this series, followed by a couple dozen other Sunset... books, including a spin-off series called Club Sunset Island. If you're a fan of Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High series, then you'll probably enjoy this series. In my opinion, they're a little better than SVH. Recommended for 12+ year-old girls.

I really enjoyed this book, I wasn't sure at first if I wouldlike it but it was really good. I like the fact that it deals witholder teenage girls, because it is hard to find books for olderteenagers. I enjoyed the book so much that I read the whole series and I enjoyed each and everyone one of them.

These books are awesome. Just make sure you start with the first book and read them in line. It would be best is you ordered all three at one time so as soon as you finish one, you can start the next one! There are a lot of characters, and if you wait a while between reading each one, you may have to refer back to te previous books to find out who certain people are.

I thought that this was an incredible book! It left you wondering.... whatever will happen between Tristan and Zoey? And, what about Summer? I guess you'll have to read it and see what I'm talking about.

I have been following Cherie Bennett's work since the Sunset series and I have to tell you that this is one of the best! It leaves you hanging and dying for the next book to come out! I guess you'll have to read it to understand what I'm talking about.

I love this booK! It's so great. What happens is that a girl named Star (no last name...if Madonna doesn't need one, neither does she) has to live in a place called "Hope House" where people go when their diseases take a turn for the worse. She finds her first "real" friend there, but is afraid that when her friend Courtney finds out how sick she really is with CF, she's afraid that Courtney will hate her guts.
This is a great book--I think anyone will love it!

'goodbye best friend' is a brilliant book. I also suffer from Cystic Fibrosis and I can relate to all the problems Star had. If you enjoyed this book you should read One Last Wish-A time to Die by Lurlene McDaniel as it also features a teenage girl with Cystic Fibrosis but it goes into life with CF more than 'goodbye best friend'

I am 14 year-old. After reading this book I see what it means to have best friends and how to treat them knowing the next day they may not be there. I recomend it for any age , it is a real tear jerker but a great lesson for life. Katie

The 4th book in this series was really really well done. I hardly ever rate books with 5 stars, but this book deserved every one of them! It is a must read if you love this series. I can't wait for book 5. ...

The fourth book in this series is just as good as the others. The author(s) do a wonderful job at drawing the relationship out between Zee girl and Tristan. I want them together so bad!!! Also, they really get into their psyche. The reader feels like he or she knows the two main characters on a personal level. More is found out about Summer and Erin, who is continuing her visit at Effing-huh! as well as Tristan's friends Stevie and Billie. The cliffhanger is a cliffhanger to end all other cliffhangers, per usual with this series, and the medical information and suspense escalates. I can't wait for the fifth book, PROGNOSIS HEARTBREAK, which is supposed to come out fall 2001 and center around Tristan in a totally unexpected way. Ahh!

Cherie's done it again! This book was REALLY good. It was mostly aboutZoey and Tristan.... How about Chad and his crush? It answered a lot of questions that have arised, but it also made new ones. And at the end of the book your left with a new cliffhanger. I can't wait for Book #5!

ok, look im not going to tell you about the book because thats what everyone does! I'm just going to tell you that these books are amazing but I suggest that you read them in order or they might be confusing!

I thought the book was pretty good. I was sort of glad that Allison took the picture of Shylo and Dean in the Midwest Girls (I hate the name Shylo!!!) If only Dean could have stayed in the pageant while Shylo would be sent packing. I hated the way she treated her twin sister. If she wanted to take her feeling out on someone, she had no right to take it out on Shelby. I got so happy when Tori got smacked but it also made me even more angry when Allison threatened her. When I went to the book store I found the National Pageant book and looked to the back to find out who the winner was (I could't wait to find out and I did that with all the other books too, hehehe). Allison kind of makes me like her, and then again she makes me hate her guts (it switchs back and forth). I like Dean a lot but he really should stop teling people that his girlfriend (Katie Laramie) is in the pageant. Somebody could just blurt it out or they could turm against Dean and tell Mrs. Crownwell-Stevens. I felt so sorry when Kimber found out what her mother did. But when I read the part when they were at the hospital I thought it was wrong of Mrs. Crownwell-Stevens to get mad at the nurse when she was just telling her about the blood being different (it wasn't her fault Kimber and her dad's blood were different). Anyways, I liked Mrs. Crownwell-Stevens, and the book was just as great as the others!!!

This book rocks! I was so suprised when Seirra's boyfriend, Kevin, asked to marry him! What does she say? I'm not telling! Justin is up to his old tricks--this time, with Tamara! And Allison--well...I think she's the meanest "villian" ever--that makes her great! Read it!

this book rocked. anyone who can read should read this series. the next 3 books are #4 Dirty Big Secrets from Nicks point of view about Chealsea and Jazz and stuff, #5 The Evil Twin about Karma and her twin and #6 Truth or Scare where Lisha has to choose between 2 guys, supposedly the most romantic book of trash yet. I'm not sure if you can buy them yet though and i cant wait!

This book was a lot of fun to read. It had a lot of surprises (I really thought Lisha would end up with Sky) and suspense (I never knew what to expect next from Harley). I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

It was really fun, wild, and surprising. I love the relationship problems, it adds reality. I think Sky and Lisha should go out though...

As Zoey and Tristan continue to be completely clueless about thier growing love, Becky's boyfriend is in critical condition, hence the name of the book. Rick and his twin brother, Shane, are in need of the same heart-lung transplant. But when the organs become available- who will get them. I personally love everything that goes on between Tristan and Zoey. This book was remarkable!

THIS BOOK IS REALLY GREAT. THEY REALLY KEEP YOU IN SUSPENSE. THIS BOOK OFFERS REAL SITUATIONS THAT PEOPLE CAN RELATE TO. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE.

I thought that this one was her best! It was a very gripping and suspensful.I could not put it down! This book would not be good for young readers because it has some adult matters ond concepts.

Set in Hope, Michigan, 13-year-old Cinderella "Cindy" Winters' younger sister, Heidi, suffers a serious fall from a Ferris wheel and is taken to Hope Hospital. While Heidi recovers in the pediatric ward, Cindy gets acquainted with some of the other young patients and even volunteers in an upcoming variety show with two others girls: Tina Wu, a lupus patient at HH, and Veronica Langley, the new girl at Hope Middle School who Cindy is jealous of. Cindy believes Veronica "stole" Cindy's best friend, Trevor Wayne, away from her (a guy Cindy would rather have as a boyfriend), but, as the three girls get to know each other better, Cindy realizes she may have jumped to conclusions about Veronica and finds herself possibly wanting to be friends.

Although everything seems to be headed in an upbeat direction, the events in "Get Well Soon, Little Sister" suddenly turn tragic when one of the younger cancer patients unexpectedly dies, causing Cindy to struggle with her own memories of death and loss when her mother had died of throat cancer four years ago. This is a realistic and touching book, and most girls age 8 to 12 who are interested in hospital settings will really enjoy this series.

I am 9 1/2 years old, and just finished readining this book for a school book report. I really enjoyed it, and almost cried at the end. It was really a good book and I would recommend it to anyone else.

When Cindy's little sister is injured in a terrible accident,Cindy is overwhelmed with guilt. Cindy's friends try to convince her the accident wasn't her fault,but she's sure they're wrong.The only thing that takes her mind off her unhappiness is helping out at the hospital,entertaining the adorable children in the pediatric ward.

I loved this book even though the whole series is a little TRASHY. Are they going to continue the series. I mean the ending of this one kind of left me hanging. What happens to Lisha? Will Lisha and Sky get together and stay together? What happens to Karma and D.? What about Alan? I am dying to know! Write some more Bennett!

This is the best book in the series. The cliffhanger is leaving me in suspense. I was happy to see Lisha and Sky get together and I can't wait to see what happens. This is a great book that I think everyone would enjoy!

Lisha is my favorite charcter so this is my favorite book in the series.I have loved all of the Trash books so if you like the others you'll love this one.

I was amazed when I found out what was going on with Pepper, but it was cool because that really happens and people could realate to it.If you want to find out what is going on with Pepper you have to read the book.
