Beautiful coffe table book
'Ancient Captials of Thailand' describes the old important cities and captials of Southern Thailand. These include Sukothai, Ayuthaya, Kampeng and several other cities. The book is beautifully illustrated with more than 350 photographs. It also provides site maps and descriptions of the different places and the major temples and structures. Thus, it's not just a 'picture book", but I can recommend this book both for content and quality of the pictures. The book does not cover the cities of the Northern Kingdoms (e.g., Lanna), this is supposed to be the topic of another book.

Thought-Provoking Concepts That Deliver !
Astounding! What differentiates the world's top achievers from the rest of us? More importantly, how do the rest of us attain similarly lofty levels of accomplishment? In Becoming Superhuman, Michael Janke unabashedly delineates the mindset and the methods necessary to rise to the top in any profession or environment. Building from his background as an elite Navy Seal veteran, Janke neatly integrates what he terms the predators' mindset with decades of military research for attaining and delivering peak performance. Truly thought-provoking ideas that Janke effectively drills into you with both facts and reasoning. Delivered with the effectiveness of a prizefighter's punch, Becoming Superhuman makes you stop and consider things in a profoundly new way. The concepts remain with you for some time, not easily dismissed nor forgotten as is much of the motivational materials that appear today.

Electric Power System Protection and Coordination: A Design Handbook for Overcurrent Protection

Well written and practical
The book allows anyone from an electrical designer to an electrical engineer a practical way to develop their skills in power system engineering. There are many worked examples which get you to understand the concepts being put across.
The short circuit method discussed (without the annoying use of the per unit system) is flexible and powerful. I refer to it time and again.
This is a must-have resource.

"Games" is thoroughly entertaining, caribbean style
Michael Anthony portrays the island life he knows so well with consummate ease, and draws the reader into the excitement of his characters' lives. Even now I can envision the climactic race, and feel the heat of the Caribbean sun-- Anthony's imagery remains vivid and strong long after you've turned the last page. One does not have to be a cyclist or even a sports enthusiast to get into this story, because it transcends those boundaries. This is a wonderful book for teens, and for the young at heart -- it's a great way to reminisce.

This one is a classic
This book is one of only a few good books on advertising that stands the test of time. Filled with practical tips, useful charts and good insights, it is still an excellent resource even though it is now quite a few years old.

What an Incredible Synthesis Between Psychology and Theology
This is an amazing little book that presents the true underlying meaning of two of the Old Testament's most beloved books: Jonah and the Whale, and Story of Job. Both stories provide the author with extremely fertile ground for applying modern Jungian principles to ancient Biblical teachings. In the process, a brand new developmental approach to the problem of evil is gradually presented, all the way down to the reality of hell itself. No where else will the reader find such a psychologically rich description of hell and purgatory.

Not your usual book on ghost stories---
This book is the most well-written book on ghosts I've ever read. The author's general story-telling style can easily captivate the reader and leave him wanting more. The author is obviously well-read, a scholar who is very eloquent, and a splendid writer. His tales are memorable and haunting, not only because of the subject. His characters and their stories will linger in your mind. I've read many ghost stories, but this is the only book (on ghosts) I choose to own.

Excellent
Excellent book to be used as both a text and review source. Icons on the side of pages tend to be more distracting than helpful.
