A little disappointing
Will the real Will Shakespeare Stand Up?It is illustrated with all the style one expects of a man of Mr. Christensen's great talent. He is indeed a truly creative and enlightening artist.
However the text is "Will Light". Unless you are familiar with the works of the Bard you would be much better off buying a scholarly book by Asimov if you want to understand the works of William Shakespeare.
But Renwick St. James writes a simple explanation of the plays and sonnets for those who need an introduction to them.
I guess I like to get my introduction to the works at the Shakespeare Festivals (such as where I purchased Mr.Christensen's book).

WORTHWHILE INVESTMENT OF TIME AND MONEYGrabb and Smith's text offers a comprehensive and engaging review of the essential aspects of Plastic surgery. Each Chapter starts with a review of clinical anatomy and leads on to Clinical aspects of diease. Historically important surgical approaches as well as current techniques are discussed. Disease classification is also described in excellent details through the use of tables.
I do firmly believe that this book is a worthwhile investment of time and money.

marvelous field guideAnimal profiles are accompanied by excellent color photographs, basic statistics about each animal (distribution, habitat, abundance, etc.), and a shaded map outlining just where each animal's distribution is. Entries for each animal are detailed enough, but don't seem to go on so long that a person would lose interest.
One more gripe: pictures of the animals feet, so that pawprints could be identified easily, would have been a welcome inclusion here. The Simon and Schuster's Guide To Mammals, by Boitani, is an inexpensive book that includes this feature. It might be a helpful second book to get on the topic.
It's an exciting book for young naturalists, too, who will likely get stirred up just by seeing some of the photos (star-nosed mole, northern flying squirrel, big brown bat, etc.).
Essays on conservation, the region, and tips on observation precede the main body of the book. The essays are short and well-written. They should be helpful to anyone who wants to scout out some mammals in the Carolinas, Virginia, or Maryland.

Great learning and reference guide.
Great book for novice usersI felt the authors did a wonderful job of explaining complex, technical topics so that they were easy to understand and comprehend.
Unlike many technical books, this book contains many pictures and examples which helped me to understand the topics covered in the book. I did find some inconsistencies with some of the items on the CD, but a quick email to the author resolved my problems. They were very helpful on answering my questions with the book as well as other questions I had on Access.
Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to learn about Microsoft Access and building database in Access.
Great learning book! One complaint though, the CD-ROM didn't coincide very well with some parts of the book. It has a great example database, but some instructions didn't work exactly the way they were supposed to with it. I think publishers should just put there files for download on a web site. That way they could be updated easily. Also, I like it when a publisher posts "errata" (error corrections) to their books on a web site. As far as I know...only Wrox does these things.
