Too much speculation and dramatic detail of conjectured events. The Escott book is MUCH better.

An almost pathetic view of a country "super-star," and his reliance to alcohol, narcotics, and women. A picture of an illierate "hill-billy" and his tyranic first wife. Hiram Williams was a man of great talent and personal appeal who let his life spin out of control, resulting in his death at the age of 29.

I am an admirer of hank williams and this songbook is fine, but does not contain all of his songs nor some of his hits.The music is good for vocal/guitar/piano and is great for just wanting to play.Though my sole disappointment was that it did not have some of the songs I like, although it did carry some songs I never heard and some of his gospel songs I never heard, and so the whole of this book-on the dependence of what you are looking for- is OK.

This tab book is not accurate to the original recordings. If you're wanting to own Hank Williams material in its original form, you'll be very disappointed with this book. It's even basic for beginners. Would not recommend to anyone.

This book of songs by hank williams is nicely done and would make excellent material for those learning flat picking and finger picking. The music is very well laid out in both music notion and tabs for both styles for each song. The finger picking tabs are very clear and well done. If you are looking for a Hank Williams song book where you want to sing and stumm the songs, then put in instumental breaks in between verses, this book is for you. The words are all there with the music. This is a really nice book, I have been playing Hank Williams stuff for twenty years and think this is a nice book.

Saftey's a good thing, but there is way TOO much saftey tips in this book. All you need is one section about saftey, but about 95 percent of the book is about safety. Grown-ups may like it, but it makes most kids get tired of it after two chapters. Not only this, but the author talks about things in history that aren't necassary, such as Issac Newton and the history of the band-aid, almost as if the Author is trying to get you into a history class in school (he does this in other books with math!)
