I see what you mean!
It is hard to imagine the determination and skill Harry Cordellos brings to life. Harry demonstrates his faith and willingness to try new things and how to never give up. This book is a true inspiration to anyone who has ever tried to overcome a problem. It is well written and covers a lot of material, keeping you interested in learning more about this motivational winner! When you belive it, you will see it.
This "blind guy" sees better than I do.
A blind guy excelling at water-ski jumping, diving off the 10-meter board, driving an ATV in the mountains, snow skiing, running marathons! This is the perfect gift for anybody prone to whining about their problems.

A very important work
This is an essential memoir for those interested in the ways Holocaust survivors contend with faith and overwhelming loss. As always, Wells' writing is lucid, candid, and hugely informative. Even for those who have read a lot by survivors, this book will add a perspective that most will not have encountered before: looking back, with pain but not sentimentality, on the definitive end of a world. This is a vitally important book.
this book has to be read now
Reviiewing the latest "swiss gold scandal" this book is a must. To the best of my knowledge the content of this book is true, I am saying this as a survivor of shoa. I am very much indebted to the author Mr. Wells who dared to lift the smoke screen of some incredible decisions and deads which caused many of us to die. It is unfortunate that the Germanand the Swiss public is not able to read this book as there are no German copies anymore in the market

Critical edition is a must for Wells students
War of the Worlds is one of the most important science fiction novels, but its importance can be difficult to see without some knowledge of the time in which it was written. Using essays (some by Wells himself) and copious footnotes, this critical edition does a fine job of placing War of the Worlds into its proper context

Pragmatism: philosophical justification of dying capitalism
Wells, as throughout his life, was right on target with this explication of pragmatism as the final philosophical underpinning of a rapacious and decaying capitalism. W. James, mystic that he was, is exposed in all his absurdities in a head-on, eloquent attack. Wells continues his great work (out of print in large part thanks to the pervasive anti-communism of western publishing) begun with his classic comparison of Freud and Pavlov, drenched in science and humanism. In a day when philosophical substructures are rarely mentioned, much less explained, compared, analyzed or exposed, Wells' great work is made an anachronism. Who, in the day of the Clinton/bourgeois press sleaze, wants to hear about WHY business and its political lackeys are intextricably philosophically linked, or HOW their ethically barren philosophies have emerged to justify their site in the social order. But just in case you do, you could do much worse than begin with any piece by Harry Wells. Long live the great contributions of the International Publishers editors. Hold high the banner of the Cultural Revolution. Patria o muerte; venceremos.
