Gong Hee Fat Choy
I, too, have been using this book for over twenty years. And it now time to replace my tattered copy which is being held together with a paperclip. It is very easy to use and usually quite accurate. I am so thankful it is still in print. Buy the book, you will not be disappointed.

Better Than a Tarot Deck!
I have used this book for TWENTY years and have found it to be much easier than using the Tarot. It is incredibly accurate and gives alot of information. If you are looking for something you can use everyday, this book is wonderful. It's great for daily and weekly readings.

An intimate portrait that does not sacrifice dignity
Having visited Ms. Suckley's home and the nearby Roosevelt home and library, I felt as though I were along for the ride as I read Daisy's accounts of their picnics and "tea dates" at various sites along the Hudson. In this day of "tell-all" books and seemingly unlimited voyeuristic snooping into Presidential private lives, this book was a pleasant departure from the norm. It also offered new insights into the life of a much-studied President, but one about whom there are still many unknowns. Margaret Suckley, even while preserving much of the account of her longstanding (but unknown to most contemporaries) relationship with FDR, took care to take the more private elements of their friendship to the grave.

Charming biography of America's premier wood engraver
This biography is written by family members of Cole, who is regarded as America's premier white-line wood engraver. An autobiographical introduction starts this colorful summary of Cole's life and work. From humble immigrant beginnings, he rose to the top of his craft by the end of the 19th century. The book is illustrated with a selection of his finest work, largely from his work on European masters. The text is of interest to art historians, but also has a general appeal as an intriguing biography of an accomplished engraver who travelled Europe in search of masterpieces to render in wood. He then presented the essence of the paintings to the American audience through magazines such as Scribner's and Century.

Fabulous, Inspiring Woman
This book was fantastic. I reccommend it to anyone interested in learning about Irish women's role in the fight for nationalism. Women's participation in politics is often overlooked, especially in Irish history. Learn about this incredible woman who did so much more than capture the heart of Willy Yeats-she was a true pioneer in women's political participation.

Politics of Conscience

Margaret Chase Smith
Wallace's narrative of Smith's life and career lacks finesse. While there are many facts included in the biography, many of the hypotheticals are left unfootnoted, decreasing the credibility of the author and her sources. While there is much information included in the book, it lacks connections that make other biographies a joy to read. I would suggest "No Place For a Woman: A Life of Senator Margaret Chase Smith" by Janann Sherman instead.
