Adorable, adorable!
My daughter loves this book. I think just about any 3, 4 or 5 year old girl can relate to Zoe. She talks about where she lives on Sesame Street, things she likes to do (play tea party, cars, ride on Big Bird's shoulders and look at books), she talks about loving to wear bracelets.

But she does NOT like to be cootchie-cootchie-cooed. The expression on her face, as she's enduring a lady cootchie-cootchie-cooing her is just hilarious. She looks just like my daughtr does when SHE'S being patronized and doesn't like it.

Zoe does explain that Elmo likes it, so you can cootchi-cootchie-coo him all you want. (Then you see Elmo, offering up his chin for just such affection!)

This book is interactive - very ingenious. This is a playful book. Original and fun, bright illustrations and sturdy binding.

Highly recommended!

New Science = New Architecture?

organism and architecture
Addressing the question of how architectural thinking and practices change in light of emergent technologies, this profile also raises the argument that architecture changes only when society experiences fundamental shifts in the basic framework of thought or world view. Has the new science of nonlinear dynamics supplanted the old one? Is it, as is claimed, more attuned to nature than linear mechanics? How far have chaos and complexity theories been accepted as primary explanations? Assuming there is a new science, and partial consensus about its worth, recent exemplars of this new paradigm are offered, including Frank Gehry's Bilbao Museum, Peter Eisenman's Aronoff Center, ARM's Storey Hall, Enric Miralles' Eurythmics Centre in Alicante and Daniel Libeskind's Jewish Museum and V&A proposal, a must have.

I know it by heart!
This book has been out sons favortie since we bought it when he was around 9 months old (he is now 2 1/2). He askes for this particular book at least 4 out of 7 nights aweek. I am acutally at this site right now looking into buying a new copy. The binding did not hold up as well as I would have liked, but I will admitt he falls alseep with it in his bed a couple of times a night (we let him look at a book in bed after we tuck him in for the night) I would highly recommend this book to anyone who child loves Elmo. It is a really cute story and as it goes along, Elmo falls asleep, so my son likes to pretend he is Elmo and lays down on his pillow. I can not rave about it enough. There is lots to talk about as the story goes along and there is even a section where you can count sheep (my sons favorite part)! I recommend this story to everyone!

Elmo at his best!
This book arrived just in time for Valentine's day for my son! Of all the books that he has at his disposal, he consistently reaches for this one! Maybe it is the bright red color or his beloved Elmo on the cover. Whatever it is, it has gotten a hold on him. I read it to him (he is 15 months old) every day and get a huge smile and hand-clapping when I am finished. We love you too Elmo!

Elmo Loves You : A Poem by Elmo
This book is adorable. My 2 year old loves Elmo and we read it over and over again. The poem has a great rythm and keeps repeating "Elmo loves you!" which always makes him smile. I also like that it includes all of the common Sesame Street characters, with Elmo on each page. The book talks about the things each character loves, which are things most toddlers love: noise, toys, books.

nice try
I didn't like their definition of manners. When Cookie monster wanted a cookie he said "gimme cookie-me want cookie". In the book elmo teaches that cookie monster should actually say "gimme cookie, please". I just don't consider that good manners. Other than that it's O.K.

You can't lose with Elmo!
My almost 10 month old son loves Elmo. But truthfully, I think he likes holding the book (great for diaper changes) more than he likes to hear it read to him. But I do use this book bedtime, and it works like a charm!

I love it and my son does too!
This book is wonderful. Not only did it motivate my 2 year old to learn the words please and thank you, he seems to have learned alot more with his Sesame Street pals here. The picures are so vivid and life like (or should I say character like :>)we've used this book to identify his pals, learn body parts (where is Cookie Monsters eyes...) and learn colors. Great book at an amazingly low price!

Trick or Read
Halloween was five months ago and my son still asks me to read this book to him. It's a delightful, fun book that takes us from A to Z while celebrating Halloween. The book comes with stickers for the child to place on each item associated with the letter.

Fun reading
Reading this book is like watching a session of "Elmo's World". It is fun and simple and my daughter loves it. The page where she squeaks with delight is full of colored balloons and what better ways to teach color!
