I brought this book for my daughter who plays soccor and had to read a biography for school. She loved it and read it aleast three times! She is an average reader and was able to read it on her own. Now I'll buy more books about Mia. Go for it!

This was an awesome book! Mia is a really great player and this book told all about her life, family, and determination. I found out that even though she's had a lot of success, she's had difficulties too. I recommend it to anyone who likes Mia Hamm or soccer.

The reason I chose this book is because Greg Maddux is a good player and one of my favorite players. Greg Maddux has won Cy young awards and many others. He's played for the Chicogo Cubs and one of my favorite's the Atlana Braves. He has been playing baseball for 18 years. First he was a out feilder and then a pitcher in the Major League Baseball. He was an outfeilder in High school, too. I liked it when the author told me that Greg started playing baseball at the age of 20. I would recomend this book to people who like Greg Maddux . The book is a sport book that tells alot about how brave he was to start playing baseball at the age of 20. He thought positive not negatively. Being positive is also important when you make good friends, and do homework

This book is an inspiration for me it tells me that I can acheive anything if I put my mind and hardwork into it. Showing how this great athlete achieved such fame and tanasity at a young age is very astounding. I'm proud to say I respect this person a lot.

This book gives you a complete rap up of Dikembe's life. You feel as if you are there with him. You will never know a sports star better than this!

Chabon's narratives can sometimes go endlessly rambling along to the poient where meaning is completely lost! For instance on page 63 you will find a sentence with 124 words! (Yes, I counted). I also found the ending of the bood to be a bit abrupt, and I was left with alot of questions. What I did like the photo on the book, it was quite cool. And you should of put alot more stuff about his family and life.

This book was pretty good but there was one part in the book that you didn't put. You should of listed where he lived, how old he is, what his life was when he growing up, whats his mom's like and what his friends were like.

My niece saw this book here in Amazon, had her heart set on it.
but never really looked over the accompanying info.

In my opinion, the publisher has committed a travesty. this book has only 28 readable pages including the table of contents.
It has 6 black and white photos, and the print is all large
print. any "big star" to allow such a book to be sold for this
price is pathetic. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BOOK!!!!

I never knew how talented this guy was until I read this book. It is chock fullof information and a great read for kids who have an interest in the business or just in Anthony. I'd like to read and see more books like this!
