I just LOVE books that let you be proactive and have fun while doing it! I especially love the story of "Diva-rella.!" It's time we women started to lighten up and enjoy taking control of our lives, too. This books gives us great ideas on how to strut our stuff with the best of them. Makes a great gift, too.

This is a great book for getting back on track with your own life after having kids - or really after any "distraction" in life, like too much work, or simply taking yourself too seriously. It's fun and usable and you won't ever outgrow the advice. It's a book you could pick up and read again in 5 years for a refresher. Did I mention it's fun? Get one for a friend who needs a little "boost." Go divas! And oh ya, I AM DIVA!!!

This is a collection of 14 stories in the sci fi/semi-weird genre. For some reason, I couldn't stop reading although I'm still not sure if I enjoyed every story. One story called "Touring" puts Buddy Holly, Elvis and Janis Joplin together in a fantasy which reminded me of Rod Serling's work or the old "Outer Limits" TV show. There's an Afterword to each story written by the main collaborator, Gardner Dozois. This is definitely a unique collection by some award winning authors.
