The first three issues are a window-tale. Two issues that seem to be oneshots untill they're being linked and exposed to be just a part of the whole in the third issue, which finishes the arc. Characters involved in this story are the Penguin, Catwoman and the Joker. Issues 4 and 5 are together one story which is the best in the book for me personally. This story features the Scarecrow, who seems to have found the perfect crime, and Robin (Dick Grayson) is in it too. The final issue of the book is an issue without a villain out of Batman's natural 'Rogues Gallery', but a down-to-earth detective story instead. In it Bruce is found over a murdered body in a room with only one door and loads of people on the other side of the door. Naturally Bruce is accused of murder and what follows is Bruce, with the aid of Dick, trying to figure out a way to prove his innocence from within his jail-cel.
If you're looking for spectacular detailed art that jumps of the pages this is not for you. The art is cartoonish, which is pretty natural since it's a cartoon-made-into-comic, sufficient and clear to tell the stories, nothing more. If you're in it for the stories just to have a good time for a while and don't neccesarilly need every story to be deep and complicated you can have some fun with it.
