We're Back
In 1993 We're Back was in theaters. It is my favorite book also , my favorite movie. It was funny and I laughed ,when I read it. It was just great ,everyone should read it. I like the part when all the Dinasaurs screamed, cause they didn't want to get in trouble.

fascinating for kids, entertaining for parents
My five year old son loves this book and I've read it to him many times. It's about a group of dinosaurs transported to modern New York and their adventures in the city.

What I especially like about the book is that the humor makes an adult smile and I don't mind reading it repeatedly.

ET
This book was outstanding in my own mind. There was just not anything that turned me off and made put the book down. Yes, this is science fiction and actually loved it, because the characters were described so well. A person may feel as if they really knew or felt that they may be somewhat alike. I personally do not like science fiction but as much as I enjoyed this, I may just change and widen my reading variety. Considering some fairly difficult words I always stuck with and just tried to understand it. Kotzwinkle has put forth an extraudinary piece of literature and should be recommended for interested readers. To be honest with you this book is not easy and is a little long but in the end I promise that you will be feeling something. This has love, tragedy, and is quite suspensful. It is a wonderful book, and I personally recommend to everyone. joe gainer

Excellent look at the Twilight Zone disaster
This book not only delves into the Twilight Zone disaster but also examines the history of stunts-gone-wrong in Hollywood. It also examines the background of John Landis which reveals much about his motivations.

What a great look at a great movie!
This is a really interesting behind the scenes look at the making of CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND. The perspective is from that of Bob Balaban, the actor who played the Translator/Cartographer teamed with Francois Truffaut. The anecdotes are fun and interesting, a look at what it was like to hang out and work with two of the greatest directors in history, one at the beginning of his career, still young and kind of idealistic, the other being a master at the height of his talents, acting for the first time. If you love CE3K, Speilberg, Truffaut or have a thing about guys who are constantly mistaken for Richard Dreyfuss (some of the funniest stuff in the book, this is a great read) It isn't really a dirt dishing tell all, it is more of sweet memories of the struggles involved in making a groundbreaking piece of cinema.

Great Biography
Two model trains headed running straight at each other, which soon makes them debris!, with a set up of plastic people, Steven Spielberg, one of the most famous directors in the world captured it all on film, why, because he was making a movie, not a famous movie, but his first. Six years old, you might think he is you but that's how old Steven Spielberg was when he started making a train crash film. I think this biography is very informative and interesting I suggest this book for everyone that ever wanted to learn more about movie making. This biography tells about him directing, writing and producing films and budgeting his movies.

If I gave this book a rating from zero to ten, it would be a definite score of ten.

Superb Book
The book is astonishing as I would have love to meet him in person. I have been always fascinated with Spielbergs movies and he has shown me great courage and great technical skills in which he is my number one idol because the movies such as ET and CE32 taught me how to film when I was 6 yrs old. So I could only wish to see him someday.

Thank you
