its okay
this book doesnthave much real ki development but it does give an accurate description of the meridians and some korean history. i could be meaner and say that the book is ripping u off because u can find the same information and better ki development in other books, and i just did, but that would be somewhat offensive.keep in mind that because the author doesnt know his information is not top quality he should not be looked down upon for it. just like i may be wrong and should not be looked down upon for it

The Ki Process....
Excellent book- very specific information. I will continue to use this as a reference while furthering my education in Ki energy. I have already begun to practice the 4 phase breath exercise and have seen benefit from it.

Very Good Book
I really enjoyed this book. Its opening chapter is very interesting as it historically details how the understanding of Ki first came to be embraced on the ancient Korean Peninsula. I think the most important element this book, however, is that it gives very clearly articulated methods on how to actually develop and utilize Ki energy. It never becomes lost in the hocus-pocus aspects of Ki. Instead, it sticks to practical applications.

Good book to keep in Karate bag
Easy to find words and handy size to keep in your Karate bag. Doesn't cover all but does a good job covering most of the common names. Has blank page at the end to make notes. Well worth the money.

For the beginner
First, I am a 2nd degree black belt and instructor in Tae Kwon Do, and I approached this book from that perspective. I guess that this book could be good for the beginner as an introduction to Tae Kwon Do, but you could probably do better just by going to your dojang. I certainly didn't buy it.

Unique Presentation of Taekwondo
This book presents Taekwondo in a unique manner. It take ideas and techniques from various Taekwondo Masters and puts them all in one book. Whereas most books on Martial Arts only share the ideas and opnions of one individual or one organization, this book combines the thoughts of many. Thereby, making it a unique, all encompassing, way to learn about Taekwondo.

Great Overview of Taekwondo
This is a very interesting book. It is made up of articles which first appeared in Inside Taekwondo magazine between 1993 and 1995. This magazine was edited by John Corcoran, who has made some notable contributons to the martial arts with his editing, writing, and his martial art encyclopedias. So, you can be sure the articles are pertinent and well written.

What this book provides the reader with is a excellent overview of Taekwondo from some of the great modern Masters, including: Hee Il Cho, Scott Shaw, and Keith D. Yates. Moreover, this book is not simply filled with pages of photo techniques. It details the history of Taekwondo, Trainning Methods, and Taekwondo Combat Techniques. This book is a great addition to the library of any discriminating reader.
