Carol Reed-Jones has created a lyrical story of life around an old-growth fir tree, & Christopher Canyon's illustrations are bright, powerful & absorbing.
A keeper, its story is delightful & its images memorable.

Although Reed missed with his major predicition, he was startingly correct with most others. Historians will enjoy this book for its unadulterated and timely views. Reed's conversational tone and passion for Rhodesia make some of his theories cumbersome but overall his analysis is intelligently clear. It's interesting to speculate what would've happened if the West had listened to Reed's arguments. I recommend this book to readers interested in learning about the political dilemmas that faced post UDI Rhodesia in the late 1960s.

I filt there was such a presence of spirit in this young man as I followed along in his journey. Speedy Copeland is enduring and dynamic. This book is filled with issues most of us may have had to face at some point in our lives. From family and friends to testing our faith.
With out a doubt "Garden's Corner" and it's characters are filled with the power of living spirit. I sincerely look forward to future works by the author.
"Controversy" is his summary of the circumstantial evidence for the existence of a "supra-power" at work in world events throughout the first 50 years of the 20th century. The link with earlier political upheavals is covered in detail, as is the probable origins of the religious influences. It is prophetic in that much of what he suggests has come about or continues its influence to this day.
"Controversy of Zion" is ESSENTIAL reading for any serious student of modern history or "political science", primarily as a benchmark against which the credibility of other works might be measured.
