I read this book every night at bedtime to my young son for several years. The simple text rhymes and is great for getting a child used to a bedtime routine that includes reading. The story is about a boy who is playing, then gets his bath, has a bedtime snack, and goes to bed.

An great text about the Orthodox Church in Russia under the Communist regime. Excellent use of primary sources allows Alexander Webster to tell the whole story, pointing out key players, and specific examples.

I highly recommend this text for anyone interested in Russian, Christian, or Orthodox, history.

This is the 2nd, updated edition of the popular volume. Its 400 pages feature more than 750 nice black and white photos and a 16 page full color section. There is adequate text to accompany the photos, and it is fully indexed to aid in item location. All major levels of scouting are featured, along with collectibles, council listings, glossary of terms, memorabilia dealers, collector organizations, museums and reference works. It's an essential guide for scout collectible enthusiasts.

This is an excellent book for anyone who collects Boy Scouts of America memorabilia such as insignia, pins, books, Order Of The Arrow, just about anything that has been involved in Scouting. It details many items extensively, and provides price ranges based on condition. The first edition did not have an index, and it was rather difficult to find certain items, but Cuhaj corrected that in this second edition. The magnitude of this book is tremendous, providing over 11,000 listings, most with values for buying, selling, or just trading. There are a few pages in color, while the rest is in black and white. I would have preferred all items in color, and would have been willing to pay more for the book. If Scouting memorabilia is your forte, I highly recommend this book with a 5-Star rating.

The first edition was the answer to a new collector's prayers and the release of the greatly expanded second edition was timed perfectly to take me to the next level in this increasingly popular field of collecting. This book brings together a broad range of information that earlier had only been available to collectors willing to seek out a daunting number of specialty publications, usually at considerable cost. I would highly recommend this new edition not only for beginning collectors, but also for the more advanced collector who needs a broad reference to the panoply of Scouting collectibles. Finally, I think most readers will enjoy the author's personal touch, including images from his boyhood Scouting experience. They certainly evoked fond memories of my own early Scouting days.

I found that be reviewing this book, I realized once again that the basics are very important to teach. I want to thank Mr. Karl for keeping this so real.

This book is tremendous, it gives you insight on what makes Karls' teams go, and the tremendous attention to detail that he has and implements into his gameplan. I would recommend this book to coaches on any and all levels. There are so many excellent drills I find myself haggling over which ones I will use next season.

One of the problems with most books is the geographical influence of the flies presented. One seldom finds a book that covers flies from many regions of the world. The author does with relative success. It must be a daunting task for an author to put together a book on flies, as the number of flies in the world can not be covered in one book. Taff Price appears to have picked up the most popular flies in the various regions I am familiar with. As a fly tier I found it to be a good source of reference for flies to tie. This is made easier by covering the materials used in the making of these flies. The sections covered vary from trout flies both wet and dry, to most other game fish. The sections on trout flies are the strongest of the book. The other sections covering the various game fish pursed on a fly tend to be a less comprehensive. This is not only a fault with this book but most other fly reference books. One is probably better off get specialist books covering the flies needed for a specific game fish type. The flies in these sections, are the more popular flies used for these game fish. This guide is most adequate for most fly fisherman and fly tier's requirements. The color illustrations of the flies tend to be very good. In some of the fly reference books I have used I have found there to be a color reproduction problem with the illustrations, this is not true for this book. This book is a good buy for the fly fisherman or fly tier looking for new flies from around the world.

This is probably the best fly-tying instruction book I have ever used. It is very simple, yet has everything. It is great for beginners, but also for profesionals!

If you love obscure ,low budget movies,this is the book for you.It's obvious that the authors have a great deal of affection for these movies.My only complaint is they include a few too many movies that aren't really horror in my opinion-westerns with some spooky touches,etc.All in all,though,this is an excellent book.

This is seriously the best book on movies I've ever read. With a few exceptions--"White Zombie," "Murder by Television"--these films are totally unknown. Until now.

Every movie in here was put out by the lesser-known studios--Monogram,Mascot,Chesterfield,ect. The book covers a wide range of sub-genres, from jungle exploitation films to action serials to sinister westerns, so long as there are vague horror elements.

The authors have done a great service, and their writing style is very eloquent. By all means purchase this and seek out some of these films.
