The prayers are short and heart-felt; easy to read and even more importantly understand. It has an index at the end to help you find a particular prayer you want to say. Another wonderful thing about this book is that after almost every prayer it says "Amen." My daughter, Kaitlyn will say "Amen" but she can't even say sentences yet!
The best part about this book besides the organization, is the variety of prayers due to the numerous people that contributed to it. After most of the prayers there is a scripture or person's name. Here are some of the writers/contributors (in random order): St. Augustine, Bishop Reynolds, Charles Dickens, St. Fransis of Assisi, Sir Thomas Moore, William Penn, Thomas Ken, William Carey, The Book of Common Prayer, C.F Alexander, John Wesley, John Milton, John Hobbs, Michaelangelo and THE HOLY BIBLE to name a few!
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I enjoy praying for longer periods; however, for most people this will be a 5 star book. It is not how long you pray; it is the heart's quality, not quantity. God wants us to talk to Him regularly and now you have a book to help you make prayer a daily habit!
I highly recommend this book; it makes prayer so easy and joyful to do!

A former Supermodel who just gave birth to the boyfriends (Oscar) second child, finds out that he is cheating. Oscar tells her that she is now fat and saggy and to get out. She leaves in the middle of the night with a two yr old and a six week old baby, without any stuff at all (not even diapers) because Oscar won't let her take anything. Oscar has spent all of her money leaving her penniless. She goes to an old friends house (our hero - Ben) and discoveries that she has always been in love with him.
Parts of the plot I could not get behind : So, was Oscar never a jerk until he kicked her out? What did she see in him? Why did she have two children with him if he never wanted children? Two birth control failures? This is never explained. When Ben asks if she is going to sue for child support she says that Oscar would rather leave the country than pay so she is not going to pursue it. Oscar spent all of her money and was living a life of luxury. When Ben asks if she can get some of the money back, she says, well, he'll just say I spent it all, no use pursuing it.
I had a hard time sympathizing with this heroine's trials.

This book covers the whole history of Russia from Ivan the Terrible to Gorbachev.
It evaluates brilliantly the writings of well known (Lenin, Trotski, Bakunin) but also of nearly forgotten revolutionaries (Pestel, Netchaev, Morozov, Heinzen and others).
The author proves convincingly that the liquidation of former allies, opponents or whole segments of the population was not a characteristic of the Bolshevik regime alone.
A brilliant work from the author who predicted that, if the Communist party would lose power in the USSR, the country would fall apart.
