An excellent book, fun, factual and a refreshing style.
We picked this book up at a yard sale, and as you can see I'm on the net searching for more of William Boniface!!!. I loved the style in which the events are written. The ideas for the treasure hunters adventures were terrific and the information section towards the end, saved me a great deal of time and explanation!. My 4 year old loved the story. I believe this book stretches a childs mind and leads them down new paths of discovery.

Messiest Book Ever
The idea of this book is cute. However it is impossible to get the pieces back in the container once the book is opened. I recommend against this book until the holders for the pizza pieces are made larger.
What Do You Want on Your Pizza?
Cute, fun book. The illustrations are bright & colorful. This book is interactive for young readers; however the pizza topping puzzle pieces that fit into the pages are not interchangable from page to page. It is frustrating for young children and they may require adult help to put the pieces on the correct pages. This book has pieces that could possibly be swallowed by very young children.
Tantalizing Fun
This book is terrific for young beginners. My 4 year old found it entertaining and challenging trying to find the exact piece of topping to fill in the holes. Whether it was the pepperoni pieces, olives, or even the three different types of peppers, all pieces had aslightly different shape and size. My two year old enjoys hearing the story and is really pretty good at finding the pieces too. So, I would recommend this book as educational and entertaining.

The first two chapters of the book treat the crisis itself, first by outlining the Catholic understanding of faith -- i.e., the traditional division between acts of faith and the content of faith -- and then showing how the crisis is effecting the Church -- i.e., that baptized Catholics have lost believe in some of the Church's key doctrines.
Kasper then shows the growth of the crisis of faith: its birth in late medieval Christianity, its maturation in Protestantism, and its full development in modern philosophy.
The rest of the book deals with Christian faith -- namely, what faith is, how we come to faith, acts of faith, and the content of faith. The book concludes with a penetrating reflection on the Church as a community of believers.
The book has two great strengths: (1) its analysis of the history of the crisis; (2) its answer to the crisis, which is the most valuable part of the book, for Kasper's answers are not only rooted in the Catholic theological tradition, but they are formulated in such a way that they answer the questions posed by modern and post-modern men and women.
