This book is not as good as alal the others are sayingin my view. Its too short, lacks detail and needs to be supplemented by other books. It can be used as a supplementary book but not as the MAIN book for USMLE step 3 exam.
mosby is a good guide for USMLE step 3I highly recommend this book for STEP 3 cause it gives you the keys of the exam although it is a little bit difficient in some areas such as Surgery but you can add the defficient information by reading some difficient topics. But this book makes you concentrated on the important topics of medicine such that Emergency , rabies and tetanus in which there are many questions about them in the STEP 3 but I wish there will be a new edition which contains more ethical mediine cause there are many items of Ethics of Medicine in the exam. I read many books for the exam but this book was the best. But please if you are preparing for the exam I wish you will read the difficient topics thet I mentioned in my preview.
Read this book . . pass the test. This book, much better than the Step II tome from the same series, is written in outline form by people who reportedly took and smoked the test. I believe it. I really think EVERY item in the book was on the test, and those items that are set in bold-face type, frequently represented 3,4, or even 5 questions. Some of these key points were not even to be FOUND in most other study-guides, let alone emphasized. The content is organized into bite-sized chunks, then is reviewable before the test even more rapidly. There is a CD included with lots of questions; be careful, though! The answers on the CD (at least in my edition) were not always accurate, although the answers to the (much fewer) questions in the book were. If you are at all comfortable with multipl-guess questions, and you have practiced medicine in the US anytime recently, this book, memorized, may be all you need. (If you want more, add Swanson) Re-reading this again and again will help you more than filling your head with a bunch of esoteric stuff that may help your real-world patients, but is unlikely to be found in the more typical patients about whom you will be tested in the Boards.

Ok introductory book but look elsewhere for in depth info.As an introductory book its fine but as a 'Most Complete' you want it to expand beyond basic examples into e.g. interaction between the cartridge types, practical implementation advice etc.
I'd have used the money back guarantee if there was one as I expected a bit more from it.
Buy Oracle Web Application Server Handbook insteadDoes a reasonable job of covering Oracle Web Application Server 3.0, but the Oracle Press book is better.
Good, but certainly not "The Most Complete Reference"This book does a good job of providing an overview of the architecture surrounding OAS 3.0, but certainly does not hold to its claim as "The Most Complete Reference." Its biggest shortfall is its lack of detail concerning Inter-Cartridge Exchange (ICX). It mentions this topic at least a few times, and explains the premise behind ICX, but doesn't provide any examples of how ICX is accomplished from a PL/SQL cartridge to a C cartridge, for example. A good book for people who are just learning about OAS and want an introduction and then some.

UghVery dull, very dry, very expensive
Instructor PerspectiveLiked the entrepreneural perspcetive.
Review of the Study Guide for Managerial AccountingMy first Accounting Test consisted of three chapters from my Mangerial Accounting text. My professor was very vague on what material to focus on from each chapter, and did not go over much in of the material in class. I used the Study Guide for the corresponding three chapters, and after taking the test was thouroughly satisfied with my preparation for the test. The Study Guide has multiple choice questions to cover the objectives of each chapter. It has True/False questions to test your knowledge of relevant subject matter. More importantly it gives you extra practice with the Accounting problems. It answered many questions I had after leaving a lecture with my professor. When you do not get and answer correct, the answer guide in the back of the book gives you good explanations of where you went wrong. For example, with the multiple choice questions there are excerpts next to the correct answer.

Hobbyists beware! This book and its sister volume are much too technical and verbose for the average hobbyist. The illustrations are poor black and white photographs and/or drawings that are not of much help in identifying cacti that most of us would encounter. The material also seems to be dated, and very, very limited in some areas of general interest, (schlumbergera, for example....) I have found these books to be of little help, and certainly not worth the price....
A technical book with a wealth of informationThis is really a scientific work, but anyone with a knowlege of "Flora's" will find thier way around these books with ease. Although some of the nomenculture is outdated it is still a "Must" for the serious Cacti Species collector.

This is not a kinematics bookThis book covers only geometric analysis. Differential relationships, which distinguish kinematics from geometry, are not covered. Much of the book covers the geometry of an array of closed loop spatial mechanisms. This is useful if that is what you're interested in, but does not apply to serial linkages.
