All of a sudden a guy finds himself in a strange house. What's even stranger, he sees a girl from his class, but in giant size! He is in a land of green people, but isn't scared, because he has been there before...

I'm not sure if my 2 1/2 year old or I liked this fun book the best. This is a rhyming book (hence the title) with a fun story line. Nice cadence and nifty pictures. Got it from the library, thrilled to find it in paperback.

Nodelman's book is an essential purchase for anyone who wants to understand how children's picture books work. He is scholarly, witty, and informative. This is an important reference book for those of us who seriously study children's literature.

I read this book and couldn't put it down. I loved it. It took me to a world of fantasy and enchantment! I hope that everyone who reads this will enjoy it the way that I did! When I was finished with More Minds I went and donated it to the library so other people could read it like yourselves. I am planning on reading the entire series because of how good More Minds was!

This book and its prequel, Of Two Minds, are two of the best books I have ever read. Lenora and Coren are very believable people set in a world that is fun to read about. Get it because it is definately worth it.

It took me no time flat to read this book because it was so good! I hope everyone else can read this book so they will know what they have been missing.This book is the perfect sequel to "of two minds" and I cannot wait to read the third book in the series.

I really did like this book because it's just so much fun to read! It doesn't go very deeply into character analysis or the complexities of love, however, which was probably the intent of the authors since this was directed at children. The authors really did make these two worlds--one of Gepeth and Andilla with their petty preudices and hates and one of Grag, with its seemingly "perfect" society--realistic enough to appease even the most inquisitive eight-year-old. Caught up in the middle of this conflict is Lenora, who is enticed by the "perfect" society and pulls her betrothed Coren, who is inexplicably linked to her, in the conflict as well. Add the strange powers that both Coren and Lenora abuse in different ways and it makes an interesting read at the very least. The characteristics of these powers are not fully explained as it is complicated, but a bit of thinking and it will become clear.

I really love this book. I like reading fantasy and romance. This book has both but has more fantasy in it. Princess Lenora is a girl who is turning 17. Her father brings Prince Coren to her for her birthday. Her parents and Coren's parents wants them to marry. Before they met both saw something in a mirror or water. They both don't want to marry each other and some how they both think that there is something wrong with each other. They travel to a another world were they both most trust each other to save themselves and others. I think that anyone who loves fantasy with a little bit of romance should read this book and read the sequel to it. ("More Minds", "Out of Their Minds", and "A Meeting of Minds")

I really liked this book a lot! It was a mixture of fantasy, humor and a bit of romance. Somthing about the book made me keep reading for hours on end until the book was finished. Princess Lenora is from Gepeth, a country where everyone can imagine something and make it real. (I guess you won't need to go to the mall anymore.) But no one except Lenora will use their powers because it might upset the Balance. (Oh dear!) Prince Coren is from Andilla where people live in their minds. They can imagine they're eating fried chicken when what they're really eating is blue mush. (Yuck!) Instead of talking, they communicate with their minds. However, Coren doesn't like the idea of people being able to read his mind, so he decides to stop imagining a soft, fluffy bed and instead sleeps on a bumpy, old, real, bed. Well, these two young royals are to be married. (Not of their own free will) During the ceremony, Lenora transports both of them to a world she sees in a basin of water. They find that in that world, they are unable to use their powers. Soon Coren and Lenora figure out what's going on and who is causing all of the problems. You have to read this book and its sequels!

Out of Their Minds is a fun new installment in the series, but the plot is noticeably more derivative. Fewer new and intriguing ideas are brought up; the series appears to be running a little low on fuel. Hopefully the newest one, A Meeting of Minds, will be fresher. In the meantime, enjoy this one for what it's worth.

I am giving this book 4 stars since it isn't as good as the first two but still a good book. I especially love how Matas & Nodelman brought back the characters Leni and Cori. These books are so cool and I hope they write more of them together, since they make such a great team.

This is one of the best books I have ever read! If you are looking for a follow up to Harry Potter, you got it right here. The whole trilogy keeps you on the edge of your seat and giggling the whole time!

Brad Gold loves to wear a hat to school -- in fact, few people have seen him without it. When the school board decides to create a code of conduct with student input, Brad gets roped into assisting, and when the project gets dumped entirely into his lap, he struggles to create something the students and the faculty can be happy with, making sure to include his own clause that hats should be permissible. His formerly low-key life becomes high profile as he circles the halls, clipboard in hand, asking kids for their input. Bullies, crank phone calls, and meeting after meeting are just the start of his ordeal. The title of this book is very clever play on words; Nodelman also cleverly manipulates the plot to create a story with humor and mystery. Who is stalking Brad? And why won't he take off his hat? Brad's voice is authentic; Nodelman writes the way teens talk, and this is the biggest strength of the book. His first person narrative reveals the insults, beatings and discreditings that result from the project, make the reader very sympathetic and curious. The supporting characters are amusing, like the boy who has stayed back for 4 years in a row and spouts of words of wisdom from famous people, and the girl in the wheelchair who has a peeve with the girl's gym teacher. Still, the pacing of this well-written novel is a little slow, and although the book has a clear voice and is funny, I am not sure the plot will make teens want to pick up the book. And the cover, a boy with a clipboard and some students in the background, isn't thrilling either. If you like Rob Thomas, Ron Koertge and Gordon Korman, this is a book for you, but wait for the paperback.

I picked up this book from the school library with the thought in my head that it was going to be incredibly corny and some "school appropriate" version of what being a teenager was like. I was wrong. Brad Gold is a normal teenage guy with insecurities and the tendancy to ogle gorgeous ladies. If you want to get inside a teenage guy's mind - this book will help. If you just want to laugh at the things he points out about how stupid our own teachers are - this book will help. If you just want to read a good book that is so funny you'll find yourself sharing passages with friends - this is your book. In fact, I read this book in about two days, and I'm the type of guy who will read a maximum of about 10 pages a day - and that's when I really like the book. This book is amazing. Give it a try.

When I read this book I couldn't put it down. It is confusing at first, but it is one of the most interesting books I have ever read. I really recommend this book if you enjoy bizzare books.

I actually found this book kind of hard, and difficult. I really hated how it started and ended. I really loved all the other ones but in a sense, if you read the other ones you sort of have to know what happends but it will kill you to get there. I really did not enjoy it. :|

I must say I was pretty disapointed in the ending. I like the first one because I thought the characters were so realistic and loveable you just had to like them. Of course the plot of all the book hasn't been the same since "Of TWo Minds" but it was been ok. I thought this book was kind of a waste of time. And when are they gonna get married? The authors have pro-longed this stupid wedding for 4 books. Each time something total un-realtic happens. I really hope that the authors keep the books alive. I hope there will be more cahracters and a better plot.

Lenora and Coren suddenly find themselves trapped in a different world. Just seconds before, they were standing in Coren's palace, discussing their wedding plans. Previously, Lenora's powers had landed her in mysterious worlds along with her fiance, Coren. Normally, Lenora would be able to use her imaginative powers to imagine herself and Coren back to the palace. But in this new world, her and Coren's powers are not functioning. As you can tell, Lenora has the power to imagine herself places, along with imagining any item she desires. Coren, on the other hand, has the ability to read peoples' minds. Now, instead of worrying about their powers, they must figure a way out of this confusing world. The people here use paper money to trade for things and worship a god named Sayley ( which has an extraordinary resemblance to a child they know). What does this all mean? More importantly, who transported them here? This is an exceptional book. If you liked the Harry Potter series, you will definitely enjoy this book. This complicated, yet easy to comprehend story will never let you down. Lenora and Coren's antics will keep you reading. Although this book is quite interesting, I would rate it four stars out of five because the end is a bit of a letdown. The authors do a wonderful job describing and animating the characters, but when it comes to the end, they skimp on the descriptions. Even though the ending is disappointing, the rest of the book is great.
