I have to say this is a quite ridiculous book. I especially enjoyed Ms./Mr. ALMODOVAR's review which was very entertaining. I also found it interesting that the best reviews were placed by individuals who also did not know how to spell. Hmmmm. Be very careful and don't think reading this will really supplement your lifestyle.

Something about this book really beats me down, but luckily the other reviews show that as well. I'm not an expert on many of the topics besides beer and music. The beer selections are rather off once they leave the US. The music selections seem like something from "Classical Music for Dummies" or "Hooked on Mozart". Aside from many typos like "Deuschland" and "nouveau rich" and other idiotic comments, this book does provide some interesting lists, though the accuracy may be debatable. It was an entertaining Christmas gift...

Especially for a job, if you want to improve your vocabulary and understanding of the upper middle class or upper class tastes, this book is a start. It has a lot of errors in it, but the previous posts do a good job of pointing them out.

Frankly, there is no other book you can use as a starting point; in fact, if you want to develop some sophistication, you need to know what topics to concentrate on which is where this book comes in handy.
