An Almost Perfect Game By Stephen Manes
An Almost Perfect Game is by Stephen Manes. This book is great! It is about two boys and their grandparents at a minor league baseball game. It is the last game of the season and is for Appreciation night. My favorite character is Jake because he really likes baseball. Someone has a magic scorecard that can make a big difference in the game. If you like baseball and excitement, you should definitely read this book.

A kid discovers he can control the game with his scorecard.
A boy, his brother, and their grandparents go to a baseball game. When the older brother gets to the game, a vendor says, "Scorecard! Scorecard! Guaranteed lucky!" He buys one and discovers he can control the other team's batters with it. The whole action of the book is in the span of ten innings. I liked it and I'd recommend it to other people.

It was a great book.
I think any one who enjoys baseball will love this book. It is funny and suspensefull

Choclate Coverd Ants Review
In Chocolate Covered Ants the main characters are Max and Adam. The story is about Max and Adam making a bet about chocolate covered ants.
In Chocolate Covered Ants Max, Adam's older brother, makes a bet with Adam. The bet is that Max says there are such things as chocolate covered ants, but Adam doesn't believe him, who will win?
I think the book was gross when Max ate chocolate covered ants! It was gross when Adam ate ants in his ice cream. It was also gross when Max made chocolate covered ants. If you like to read gross books read Chocolate Covered Ants.

SuperBook
I am 11 years old and I read a book called Chocolate Covered Ants. It is really funny.
The best part is when one of the boys explodes ants in the microwave. He goes to school and he asks his friends to try the chocolate covered ants. When they do that they got in trouble and they had to eat some more. I also thought it was funny when the ants get loose in the bed, and he comes screaming down the hallway.

Chocolate Covered Ants Review
Chocolate Covered Ants takes place in the home and school of two brothers. The main characters are Max and Adam. The story is about Adam who does not believe people eat chocolate covered ants.
Adam has a birthday and gets an ant colony from his aunt. Max makes a bet with Adam that people eat chocolate covered ants. Then when Adam gets his ants he starts to keep Max out of his room. Max goes out to get some of his own ants. Max's friend Larry hears about the bet and tells their mom then the bet is over.
I thought Chocolate Covered Ants was a funny book because Max and Adam fight for no big reason. Adam puts ants in Max's bed when he is sleeping. Another funny part was when Larry said, "I have chocolate covered ants". The other reason the book was funny was when Max and Adam's mom finds out about the bet of who can eat the chocolate covered ants. If you like funny books than this is the right book for you.

It's like having the best vacation of your life over again
I recently pulled this book off my shelf after many years. I remembered it was one of my favorites from when I was little, but I couldn't really remember why. So, while I was cooking dinner one night, I read it again. It didn't take long to remember why I loved it.

It's the story of a family driving from New York to Philadelphia for a summer vacation. There's mom and dad, Alvin, Annie and her stuffed friend "Lambie". Alvin, a boy who's probably about 9 or 10, is the main character. He has a wild imagination that amazes you and makes you laugh. For example, he talks, as the family drives past some cows in a pasture, about how brown cows give us chocolate milk, black cows give us licorice flavored milk, and the white cows, who give us white milk, have to stay in the barn during the day, so they don't get sunburned--or else they'd give us strawberry flavored milk!

But, this isn't just a boring car ride about the things the Hooples see on the side of the road, the family has many unplanned adventures. From the daring rescue of Lambie to the tour of the inside of a semi-truck, Hooples on the Highway is a great book that will activate the imagination of any child, and light up their parents' eyes as well.

Hooples on the Highway: A great book!
This book takes place while the Hooples are going on vacation. After their car "blows-up", and they get stranded, and miss the Phillies game, they feel bad. But it's not too late to make everything right! P.S. I know this book is out-of-print, and I got it from my school. Just try to get your hands on this cool book ASAP!

hilarious
this book made me almost fall out of my chair laughing. i would have gave it 5 stars but it didn't have much substance. but it was hilarious.

FUnNNy!
this book is very hilarious, many teenagers would enjoy reading it, the common sense of the book is that Ivan Zellner is forced to move to Nevada because of his dad's job.. it continues with his friends and how they get together. Its a great book i would rate it as a 5 star but it doesnt make sense in some places.

What died?
This book is about a smelly little town that wants to be well known so the main characters, Elton Wazoo and MacBeth MacBeth set up a smelly little museum with clean restrooms. How exciting(sarcastic)!!! Hey, my advice to you is that you don't read it because it is the most boring book in the world and the author tried to make it soooo funny, that it wasn't funny anymore!!! What a shame. Poor innocent trees were killed to make a book that was really smelly. Tsk tsk tsk...

I think this book is okay.
When I started reading this book I thought it was really boring but as I got more into it it started to get interesting.Anyway I enjoyed the book very much. I think I will try reading it again very soon.I think you wrote an okay book Stephen Manes.

PHEW!!! WHAT SMELLS?! :(
Oh yeah it's the book that my teacher made me read called THE GREAT GERBIL ROUNDUP. Oh, such intriguing statements and a plot that will keep readers on the edge of their seat(sarcastic!)Of course, I thought that it really stunk. It's about these demented little children named Elton Wazoo and Macbeth Macbeth who want to make the town of gerbil PA famous so they start the first drive through museum of sightseeing and clean restrooms. Then all this other stuff that's not really very interesting comes up and the town turns into a big mess which I do not want to get into.I agree with the person below with the fact that the poor, innocent trees were wasted to make this piece of junk. Haven't the publishers ever heard of the concervation of trees? The only reason I gave this dull and unnattractive book 2 stars is because the world is in need of clean restrooms. So my advice to you folks,is to leave this one sitting on the shelf or maybe a better idea is to boycott all Great Gerbil Roundup products and burn them all on the streets of Philadelphia. Thank you for your cooperation.:)
