Wow, how can anyone actually read this book!?

All I can say is, when you enter an area and the book tells you to go left, when infact you should be going to the right.. that is a problem. This book is a waste of money.. get the Dimension Publishing Wild Arms guide... it's much nicer, completely detailed (maps too ;) and more worth your money.

A few flaws, but overall great.

This book was excellent with the monster and spell guide but it got you stuck in a few places. Still, with the help of this book I got ALL the secrets, beat the ENTIRE game, and as such I recommend this book to ANYONE who likes Wild Arms.

IT was great

IT helps out with everything but some of the minor information is WRONG. It will get you through the game. No pictures (disapointment).

Poorly organized and written

Soul Blade is my favorite game, and I found a great FAQ from Richard Uyeyama online that covered how to unlock all of the secret characters, endings, costumes, and weapons. The only thing I had trouble finding online was a moves list (I have since found one), so I bought this book.

I usually allow for mistakes in books like these, but there are far too many. No index, poorly designed - hard to flip thru the book to find what you want. Secret codes listed in this book are wrong, or require you to press more keys than needed. It is nice to see all the moves - but they are not detailed (which is a float strike?). Also, the moves lists does not differentiate from "press" and "press and hold".

I do refer to the book on occasion, but I refer to FAQs I have found online more often.

Does its job

Has all the moves and secrets.

Unfortunately, it still doesn't tell you exactly how to pull off the critical edge attacks. Sure, it SHOWS you the button combination, but it seems impossible to physically pull it off in real life.

Very complete strategy guide. Each character is discussed.

I would say it is worth the purchase, but don't expect to get all the weapons in Edge Master Mode.......

a really bad book

what was the person who created this book thinking?o all the hard levels all his strategies say is"blow that buildin,then the next,and that one to.GREAT jOB.I bet this strategy has really helped you.as a reward to myself,i think I'l go and ask for 1,000,000 dollars from the company". an SG is supposed to give you strategies,not tell you you need to complete the level
