out of print, should be reprinted,it is great!
I found this book..I read it and could not put it down. It has become one of my favorite books,it is out of print but if you should find it, grab it and you will have a great reading day like I did. Now I have read June Lund Shiplett, Kathleen Woodiwiss,Judith McNaught and Bobbi Smith just to name a few who can take you along for the adventure of a lifetime in a book. I have read this book at least a five times since 1980 and each time I still can not put it down even though I know what is going to happen. Glynda is the bastard daughter of a lord and every one wants her. She meets a Norman Duke who is everything you would want in a romance book, with other men in her life who love, betray, torture, use and abuse her. With everything in her power, she is separated from her Norman Duke and begins her lonely trek back to him. The men she mets along the way back to her Norman Duke are a rare breed that only Susannah Leigh can bring to life. I know with what I wrote about the book has not done it justice. Like the book, "SHANNA" by Kathleen Woodiwiss, you just have read it because there is not a part in the book you can pick out as your favorite, it is all great reading. I also think this book has been overlooked and needs attention brought to it.

bilingual fluency
This Usborne text is an excellent, active pictoral reader for early elementary school children who have learned some French and corresponding English words and want to master the transition in a fun and lively way. Even adults will find this colorful reader 'tres amusant' and helpful to develop better fluency. Also ideal for an early middle school child who is just starting to learn either French or English, and is fluent in the other. Will be read over and over again and passed down as a reading treasure.

Absorbing, Challenging
My bright 6 year old adored this book. She had us go through each puzzle story whenever we had a spare moment and would study the pages herself when we were unavailable. The puzzles include mazes, logic challenges, hidden items, matching problems, all along one of three adventure themes and all accompanied by rich, detailed, fun illustrations. This book is more challenging than the first Puzzle World, which my daughter also loved.

A terrific puzzle workbook similar to Where's Waldo!
This is an entertaining workbook that teaches a child to focus, remember and identify items on colorful pages. The story is very entertaining and the skills developed here will lead to good study habits and strong attention to detail. My 6-year old and I laughed and had such fun as he found the items and solved the puzzles. Excellent busy work for a trip!

The Best Puzzle Book
This book is about Katy and Tim and how they have to find the Puzzle Town party. They have to solve many puzzles to get there.
I liked this book because I liked finding my through the mazes and getting to the party and finding out who the balloon thief was. I have almost all the Puzzle books, and this one was the best! It was harder than Puzzle Mountain, Ocean, Planet and Jungle. Signed, SYDNEY

My Son LOVES Puzzle Train!...
This is our first encounter with the Puzzle Series. My 3.5 year old loves it. It really builds up an awareness to problem-solving and teaches one to pay close attention to detail.
As a parent educator, and former elementary school teacher, I think this book is exciting, with good illustrations, and most importantly gets kids interested in reading...over and over and over in our household.

Great book!
This was a great book! As always, I was stumped until the very end. I've read four Sandy Lane Stables books so far and I was clueless on what was going to happen until the last two chapters or so. You should read this book. It's definitly worth it.

My 5-year old loves it.
This is a favorite book of my 5-year old son. He never tires of the puzzles, in spite of the fact that he knows the answers to them all. He likes to look at the book by himself, as well as have it read to him. He has also enjoyed the other books in this series.
Puzzle Dungeon engages the imagination of youngsters.
Puzzle Dungeon challenges youngsters to pay attention to detail, analyse both verbal and visual dilemnas and find solutions. The illustrations by Brenda Haw are endlessly intriguing with humour and wit around every corner in each imaginatively constructed land/mindscape.
Four and Five year olds will need to be read to, but will find the tasks within their ambit; older youngsters (7-9) can do the reading themselves. Mazes, mirror-writing and verbal connundrums make this an ideal "long journey" book. Best of all children think they're reading a comic, while actually using advanced reasoning and logical thinking skills.
Lots of fun
Both my kids (7 and 4) immensely enjoyed this book and all the others in the series. We've made a habit of reading one every week or so, and they never tire of them, even when they know the answers.
