A look at the pageantry & hype of Super Bowl Sunday
A great memory
I think the writing in this book was very good. There is actually quite a bit of it: Ronnie Lott sounds incredibly sensible, and Crumpacker's piece is a hoot. Even Tagliabue comes across less than smarmy.

I am a die-hard Charger fan, so even though we got massacred in this game, I still have a lot nostalgia of the 1994 season. It was the first year that we ever made a Super Bowl, and it was a year that I will never forget. This book brings back all of those great memories. Chargers 2000 all the way!

Great! But Orson Welles is not among the artists here.
This is certainly a worthwhile set of tapes for anyone who is interested in or who enjoys listening to old-time radio programs. However, although it is listed among items featuring Orson Welles, those who may be purchasing it in the hope of hearing some of Welles's classic radio dramatizations need to know that Welles is NOT on these tapes.

My gosh, what a sad waste
Someone used the word snippet to describe what is included in this production; it is a good term. So, snippet it is; but what has been included gives no introduction, no explanation, no explication, no nothing. The tape is of different bits of Shakespeare's plays which run rapidly into each other. To get any fair use out of this work the listener needs to sit with a printed copy of the complete works sitting on his or her lap otherwise the whole exercise is meaningless. Shakespeare requires understanding what is being said in context. This tape would be better served if it included a brief introduction regarding which play the snippet came from and how the dialog ties in with the action. Without this information only those who have read all the plays will not be lost. There are not many who can claim that background. So, as a stand-alone audio, for most of us, this tape is a sad waste.
all the world's stage
I want buy this produce and i curiositied how it?
A great way to hear many different interpretations
I own this on cassette, and hope that it will soon be released on CD.
I play it almost every 3 months or so especially as I search for new audition monologues.
It is a great way to hear various interpretations of speeches, snippets from some of the more less performed plays (Henry VIII and Coriolanus are two examples), and some of the theater's best actors in their finest roles.
Highly recommend

There's pre-game pics of the fans, decked out in some of the most interesting clothing & costumes ever seen as they pay tribute to their allies. There's the prepping of the field for the big day. You'll also see the players coming off the planes, the annual NFL Experience 'carnival', and go behind the scenes at rehearsals for the halftime show.
Then there's the game itself, featuring plenty of 49er highlights (Steve Young's amazing performance, Jerry Rice & Ricky Watters' two-man touchdown show, Deion Sanders' steppin') and a few Charger Moments as well (Andre Coleman's 98-yard kickoff return TD). Kathy Lee Gifford's national anthem and the 'Indiana Jones'-themed halftime show (with the Super Bowl trophy standing in for the gold idol from 'Raiders') are also depicted.
Finally, there's the post-game wrap-up, featuring stills from the victorious 49ers locker room, press conferences by both teams, and the Niner victory parade down San Francisco's main drag. Finally, a few words from commissioner Paul Tagliabue, the sentimental thoughts of Hall-of-Famers Dan Fouts & Ronnie Lott, and an appendix of game stats are included to give this book a little something aside from photos to look at.
