My next step is to go over the underlined parts and think about them. And then I'll read the book again, but slowly. Each chapter starts with a poem written by somebody like "us." Poetry so perfectly puts emotions into words and I found pieces of myself and my feelings over and over again.

I found out why some things have worked so well for me, things that I did intuitively. Others have done similar things. I've made some mistakes. Others have made the same mistakes. I'm uniquely myself, but so much like everyone else.

I'm very grateful to Mr. Levy. I'm very grateful that this book was waiting for me. I'm very grateful that I found it.

Alexander captures the reader in her wonderfully written Sci-Fi Novel. I first read this book when I was 12, I loved it then and I love it now. I've recommended it to many friends who have all loved it too. If you want a book that you wont want to put down, this is the one for you!

Thea Alexander has experienced her changes and passages since the first printing of 2150 AD, along with all those who followed the Macro Philosophy expressed in her writing. From time to time, I still read the Macro Philosphy books I purchased from her group in Tempe, AZ and have used them as a springboard to higher spiritual realities. The bottom line story of Jon Lake and his follower-friends still rings true today, as it has for centuries, that is - fear is stronger than love here on Earthschool. And, those who's fear is the strongest will try the hardest to crush pure Love without ever realizing that Love in its purest form can never be eradicated -- it just calmly moves on to the next level -- as did Jon and Carol. All was perfect in Thea's book, and all is absolutely perfect here and now - it is as it should be.

The subliminal comfort of 2150 AD's message would read the same today as it did then. Read it for yourself and see !

I don't normally write reviews for books, but 2150 A.D. deserves one. From the first chapter the book grabs the attention of the reader. Without sounding preachy, it fills you in with a whole new philasophy, Alexander calls Macro Philasophy.
If everyone whould have read the book, the world would have been a much better place already.

Este es uno de los mejores libros que he leido en mi vida... Todo en el es excelente.. Es realmente maravilloso como la forma de pensar de un hombre que se cree dichoso puede llegar hasta el fondo cuando se esta encerrado en un calabozo por tantos años y separado de lo que el considera su dicha. Edmundo conoce al Abate Faria y gracias a eso comienza a pensar diferente y cuando es libre la manera en que planea y logra llevar a cabo su venganza.. Esta historia no solo da una leccion de paciencia, sino que se puede ver de que la venganza no se realiza siempre como es planeada tal como podemos ver cuando Monte-Cristo trata de revivir al hijo de Villefort..

En resumen..... Excelente....

Edmund Dantes, un hombre fabulósamente rico, misterioso y exéntrico, es victima de un complot que le arroja durante 14 años a los húmedos calabozos del castillo de If. Tras evadirse, encuentra un inmenso tesoro escondido en la isla de Montecristo y prepara una venganza terrible, despiadada e inflexible como el destino, por encima de todas las leyes humanas y divinas. Es poco top el libroooo!

Realmente este es uno de los mejores libros que he leído, lo considero uno de los mejores, sino es que el mejor que escribió Dumas junto con Los Tres Mosqueteros. Es una narración extraordinariamente detallada, hermosamente conjuntada y con un final totalmente sorpresivo. o creo que en esta novela, Dumas se proyecta como lo que el siempre quiso ser, un conocedor de la ciencia, un hombre infinitamente culto y sobre todo, controlador de sus emociones y calculadoramente frío. Es una lección sobre lo que es la moral de la vida, los valores y los sentimientos.

I just completed reading Fr. Arseny Priest, Prisoner, Spiritual Father. And I wanted to share with anyone who whould listen that this book was one that I could hardly put down. It reads simply, easily, yet truthfully. It is not spiced up with pietism nor does it try to make something out of the man that he was not,yet who he was in Christ was nothing short of ingodded, (an Orhodox Christian Phrase used to describe someone who has given his life so totally unto God that he or she has become by Grace everything that God is by nature. In otherwords: Christlike. I found myself, a grown man, weeping at times; laughing in the spirit in others. But always deeply moved and contemplative. I now ask Fr. Arseny to Pray for me a sinner. I have been an Orthodox Christian for 25 years and rarely have I found a book that touched my soul as deeply as this book. Whether you are Orthodox, Catholic, Or Protestant, if you want to read about a REAl MODERN DAY SAINT read this. It contains no tampering to make him sound better than he is, with all accounts checked with witnesses from the Russian Gulog where he spent over 20 years in prison simply for being a Christian Priest, to His Spiritual Children. This Book is a MUST READ!

This book is not for sensitive nerves, but even if one enters in ones mind into the horrors of Stalin's "special camps" - camps no less cruel than Hitler's, at times worse - one cannot really grasp the pain and suffering of all the prisoners; and especially Prisoner No. 18376, better known as Father Arseny. But to many he was like Christ on earth, a true Christian in all meanings of the word. The interesting thing about this book, a zamisdat from the Soviet era, is it's two layers. On the surface the incrediable stories about the camps, the Soviet-Communist Holocaust, and beneath the Message of God and His Will. Among all these horrors the faith in God survived and persisted - The Cross' victory over indifference and atheism. Fr. Arseny didn't preach sermons on the Faith, no, he lived it and suffered it as Jesus Christ did. He lived like all true Christians should. Seing the Faith lived in the person of "a little priest", a man willing to sacrifice himself for his neighbour and seing the suffering Christ in even the worst criminals in the camps, is what gives the strongest impression and it's dimension! This impression overshadows the horrors of the Siberian camps. The last part of the book, called "Spiritual Children", can perhaps at first look dull and insignificant after the stories told earlier in the book, but don't be fooled. That's really an example of how a true saint influence both the believer, the lukewarm believer, and the unbeliever. In short, how Christian virtues by example not by words only, lead man towards salvation!

Rarely do I find a book that is compelling from start to finish. A book that through which the Holy Spirit reaches into my very depths calling me to lay down my self-centeredness, my pride and my love of the world, to reach to something and someone so much greater. The stories of how Fr. Arseny took incredible abuse and won over the tormentors with the great love of Christ flowing through his life. A non-stop book of God's loves and miracles fully active in todays world, even at the worlds worst. Rare will be the person who can read this without having a sense of a deep inner goodness wanting to come to the surface and reach out to others. This is truly a call to all of us to allow God to bring us to His best and highest in our lives.

The book I just read is the best! When I read a Pooh book it was awesome! Really, first I though it would be a babyish book,but it's not. My favourite chracter is Pooh. He is always thinking of hunny, and funny po ems and songs. I also like the words that A.A.MILNE invented I though those words came from another planet. I hope to read all of A.A.milne's books soon. If you don't read it you don't know what you are missing. I have only read The House At Pooh Corner and, I am now reading Winnie-The-Pooh.

Attention: all cranky four year olds, five year olds, eight year olds and thirty-five year olds on long car trips.

Attention all parents burned out by reading The Pokey Little Puppy over and over again.

Attention cynics whose primary memory of Winnie-the-Pooh is the Dorothy Parker quote (from her "Constant Reader" column in the New Yorker) "Tontant Weader frowed-up".

This book is a treasure for all who hear it. There is gentleness and not a little wit in these stories. Contray to the book description above, the book is read by the late Charles Kuralt. His inflection adds much to the story. One senses that he is amused; but he is never condesending. Now I will always prefer Kuralt's version to my own bedtime efforts with my children. Charles Kuralt must have loved Winne-the-Pooh mightily. How lucky we are that he left this delightful gift behind.

This book is a really good and funny book. My fav is Piglet because he is so shy and just goes along with what ever Pooh does. I think I read this book because Pooh and all his friends are coming back in now, to prove I love pooh I have a Pooh and FriendsPencil case.

Title: Until Next Time

Until Next Time is a wicked book! I loved it! Linda Alexander bases her story on the age-old battle between good and evil. She interweaves several subplots into the primary plot to keep the reader enmeshed in the story and feeling a tight level of tension throughout the book.

There is an "Author's Acknowledgement" at the beginning of the book that states her purpose in writing this book as: "... to try and make believers of those who just can't seem to accept the truth of good versus evil. Both are just at the tips of our fingertips." She goes own to present a passage that will stand your hair on end. Before you even begin the actual story, you are already thinking of all the evil things you have ever witnessed or heard about. This is an extremely strong author's foreword and is highly effective in setting the mood for the book. It demonstrates Alexander's straight forward, in-your-face style and power in writing.

The main character is Perry Conners, a highly successful businessman with an eye on the Senate seat for the next term. He is forty-five years old, in perfect health, well-built, good looking, down-to-earth, and convinced that he is having a breakdown. He cannot get any rest and he is declining quickly. He has lost all interest in sex and does not understand why. His searches for answers result in medical and psychological testing that only confirms that there is nothing wrong.

Perry's wife, Mollie, has left, even though she still loves and desires him, and is filing for divorce. She manipulates the legal system to get a female judge, Annette Black, who is bitterly vengeful because Perry turned down her advances. Together they plot to ruin him, with the assistance of Mollie's father, a well-respected judge that will readily take up for his only child, even though he knows she is wrong.

The only three persons Perry can turn to are a new acquaintance, Michaele Vincente, a psychiatrist; his sister, Senator Barbara Satterly; and his personal assistant, Lillia. Unfortunately, Lillia has her own agenda for revenge, acquisition of Perry's fortune, and the disposal of Perry once her plan is completed. She will utilize any weapon and go to any length to see her scheme through. She is evil personified.

Perry's trust for this woman combines with his distraction by the other elements in his life to leave him wide open and vulnerable to this evil woman. Will she achieve her goals? Will he learn the truth before it is too late?

Linda Alexander has skillfully created a superb story that captivates the reader's attention and takes them on a trip through the mind of the most evil creature on this planet. She feeds you just enough information to keep you turning pages to learn more. The ending provides a satisfactory closure, while leaving an opportunity for a sequel, which I do hope to see. This is one story that is simply too marvelous to end here! Get a copy and dive into the horrors of evil today. You will never look at your neighbor the same way again!

The book intrigues me on many levels. Not only is it beautifully written, but the writer has a great talent as a story teller. The reader doesn't just read this book, she becomes involved in it, caring what happens to Perry and the women in his life. I highly recommend this novel.

Until Next Time was filled with sexual tension and the never-ending conflict between good and evil. I never knew what was going to happen next. I not only felt for the "good guys", but the bad guy (girl) as well. A chilling ending.

This is the best novel of Revolutionary American history I have ever read. The story of the Clark family is incredible, especially that of two particular sons, George and William. Perhaps the main theme of this book is leadership. George Rogers Clark was a phenomenal leader. He almost single-handedly won the western frontier during the Revolution. In the end, he was ruined rather than rewarded, for his efforts. As his inner fire dies, it is momentarily rekindled by his young brother, who departs to co-lead the greatest adventure in American History. Thom's depiction of George's brutal marches on Kaskaskia and Vincennes, and the Journey of the Corps of Discovery, is a masterwork.

Although I'm not much of a history buff, I read this book at the advice of a friend. By the end of the first chapter I was hooked. Thom brings the adventures of the Clark family to life. The book is accurate from a historical perspective and leaves the reader with a new appreciation of the courage and sacrifice behind our country's westward expansion. A must read.

I have always enjoyed American history,but this novel as you read it makes it seem as if you are there with the Clarks through good and bad times both. I laughed alot and was at times to the point of almost tears throughout the book. If you are interested in American history this is a must read about the opening of the frontiers during and after the revolutionary war. You will not be disappointed.

This book may not cover every topic under the sun in micro, but it covers the essential knowledge in such a way that the student is led to think deeply about how micro theory is put together. The exposition is astoundingly clear and complete. I highly reccommend it.

This book is better that "Microeconomic Analysis" by Hal R. Varian. I recommend thoroughly this book. Varian's book was better a long time ago, but now, Geoffrey A. Jehle and Philip J. Reny wrote an excellent book, it was written like introduction to PhD courses.

This is an excellent book, which I used in my micro class. The calculus review in the first two chapters really helped me a lot in understanding the materials later on.

The authors did a great job in going straight to the points without omiting vital information.

This is the book for those who find "Microeconomic analysis" isn't self-contained and find "Microeconomic theory" too complex.

As an aspiring novelist, I found this book to be an eye-opener. Whether or not I decide to self-publish, the inside information has helped me perpare for the process. Alexander's mix of humor and straightforwardness make this an educational and fun read. The example used throughout of a person publishing his book was particularly interesting and, the additional reading lists and worksheets were particularly helpful. Alexander addresses more than just publishing but also touches on writing, editing and marketing so the reader can understand the entire process. It's a must read for beginning self-publishers and writers.

Kwame Alexander has done all aspiring writers a great service. He's writen a book that demystifies self publishing. His instructions are clear and free of jargon. Authors who aren't novices can enjoy the book too because of the highly valuable section on marketing. If you're serious about getting published run out and buy Do the Write Thing now.

This is the second book I've read by James Alexander Thom. I love the way this author writes. Like the first book that I ready, Follow The River, this book pulled me in and I couldn't wait to get back to reading it to see what happened next. Thom does a superb job in his research. I read the book over the Christmas holiday when I was travelling. After the holidays I happened to catch a History Channel presentation on George Rogers Clark. To my surprise, Thom was included among the experts that they interviewed. I would recommend that anyone who likes to read about history and have it brought to life in the story read this book. I can't wait to read another book by Thom.

I read this book years ago, but the story of George Rogers Clark has stayed with me. Thom is one of those rare authors that can paint pictures with his masterful weaving of words. A fictional presentation of a real-life hero, a man who accomplished amazing things and lived and outstanding life - and he is one that has long been overshadowed in the history books to a degree by his younger brother's feats (William Clark, famed adventurer of the Lewis & Clark team).

Thom has done a superb job of showcasing George Rogers Clark in this book. It's an outstanding read and could well set the reader on an adventure for more historical fiction from this fine author. Be sure to check out 'From Sea to Shining Sea' as well.

This was a great story - especially since it is true. George Rogers Clark was an amazing man. After reading this book you too will have a great respect for him. Mr. Thom writes beautifully and keeps to the facts. I would like to see more books written about George Rogers Clark. Mr. Thom please give us more!
