A book about a board person must be a boring book.
About the book I think that Boss of the Pool by Robin Klein is a very strange book. I think it has no meaning what so ever. I find that the setting is terrible. I thought it should have been in a hospital not in a hostel. There were no good descriptions. I could not get a picture at all. I could not even get a good picture of the pool. I was ashamed at the moral. It was a real disgrace to the story. I mean, the moral should have been "Stop being so stubborn, try new things, and go meet new people". Then there are the characters. Just like the setting. I could not get a clear view of the characters at all. I think it is stupid to change a character's characteristics in the middle of the story. Its like it changes the whole story. That is what I really did not like. I think if I was to write this story again it would be completely different and Ben by the end of my book Ben would be a competition swimmer in the state level.

The moral of the story is never to pick a book with a boring cover. This very very very boring book had even a worse cover. Who would want to pick a book whose cover has a boy with such an empty expression on his face. The blurb was negative and upsetting. The first chapter was about a girl that did not know what to do with her self. The last chapter is about a person getting a job in such an unexciting place. What I learned from the book (the moral) is that I must avoid at all costs such an unpromising book like "Boss of the Pool" by Robin Klein.

Boss of the Pool
Shelley, who thinks the world should revolve around her, is upset when her mom takes a job over school break at a home for mentally and physically handicapped children. In this wonderful story, Shelley teaches a boy with Down syndrome how to swim. Shelley finds herself, and is enlightened by what a great person her mom is. Shelley and Ben form a wonderful friendship and he learns to swim. The story is wonderful and the main character, Shelley, goes through a great change.
