good book
Oh so perfect Hannah, the staunch follower of courtship in the Brio girls group, tires out for the school newspaper and ends up with a crush on the editor in chief. When the editor decides that Hannah should go on the ski trip to take photos for the paper, problems fly. Hannah kisses the editor of the paper, who would like nothing more than to date her. And then Hannah finds out that her friend Tyler likes her as well. Pretty soon, her friends are wondering about the guys in her life, especially after she gets flowers from one of them.

Then things take a turn for the worse when the editor of the school paper is injured and Hannah visits him. When he shows up at her house at the dead of night and Hannah decides to join him, they get caught, and Hannah finds herself questioning her beliefs about courtship and she wonders if God will forgive her for what she's done. It takes a whole lot of work to patch up the problems in Hannah's life, espcially since her little brother Micah has decided that dating is better than courtship.

ReEvaluted Priorities
Kathy Wierenga presents thoughts in this book that allowed me to question my own views on dating and commitment. She reminded me of what was really important in my life, and where my values are. I don't feel that dating is wrong, I am dating a wonderful girl right now, I just want to make sure that I pursue her only second to God after hearing Kathy's words.
I highly recommend anyone who is dating or thinking about it to read this book.

another good brio girls book
When Tyler Jennings shows up at a Brio photo shoot and meets Jessica Abbott, his former girlfriend, he begins to have problems with the relationships in his life since he also likes Hannah, one of the Brio girls. When he and Jessica begin to date again, his friends in the Brio group take offense. It doesn't help any that most of Tyler's friends have thier eye on Jessica, who is the talk of the Guys locker room. Ultimately, Tyler learns about women and dating from his former Youth Pastor who tells him that he should wait and see how they both turn out.

I liked this book because it gave me some idea of what goes on in the boy brain.

One of the Best Books I've Read
I enjoyed reading the book very much. I liked how it tells you how it would be to live back in the Bible days. It lets you understand what it would be like to be in the crowd trying to get to Jesus. The main characters are three young boys, Seth, David and Joshua. This story shares how these three boys deal with their problems then, which are alot like our problems today. I couldn't put this book down, I read it in two days.

The Never-Ending Day
China and Deedee have yet another adventure, and this one is nothing like the others. They pass up a chance to go water skiing on a houseboat only because of their former responsibility, babysitting 6 kids for 36 hours. Contiance wins out, but China doesn't get what she expected- heavanly blessing from above. Lissa has done it again with more commical adventures quite unreplacable by any other author. I really liked the new charectors introduced in this book as well as the incidints that occured to poor China and Deedee. However I don't feel this book had as much triumph as her first one, (Sliced Heather On Toast). The plot wasn't as strong as it could have been. In spite of that, I think you'll still get a laugh out of this book :0)

The series has seen better
I am a big fan of the Brio girls series and feel that it explains issues that teens face in thier lives on a regular basis, with an exception for this book. Grasping at Moonbeams is the series' attempt at explaining Wicca, when two of the main characters, Becca and Solana, inadevertantly find themselves at a Wiccan ceremony. The whole part I didn't get with it was that the girls were so secretive about it. I've met a few Wiccans in my life, and all have confidently explained to me that they are Wiccans, and they have also clarified that they were not Christians by any means. While I feel that Wicca is wrong and goes against God, I did not like the way the group of Wiccans were protrayed in this book. They were portrayed as secretive, evil people. What I did like, however, is how Becca's and Solana's friends approached them after they found out that the two of them were dabbling in Wicca, which is why this book gets two stars.

This book was not as good as the others in part because I couldn't seem to get through it. It does gradually pick up, but what bothered me was how the Wiccans were portrayed. The Bible does say that witchcraft is wrong. But this does not mean that Wiccans are the evil, manipulative people depicted in this book. I do not recommend this book for Christians who want to know more about Wicca.
