My mother and i were discussing this book tonight--it was one of her favorites to read to me when i was little and one of my favorites too! The book describes various objects through explaining adjectives and answering questions, such as "How high is up? Up is as high as (the ceiling, your head, the sky)" and "How low is down? Down is as low as (the basement, the grass...)." We passed our copy along to friends with small children, and now we are looking for another copy for when my mom has grandchildren. It is an entertaining book; because of the question and answer format it is a bit like a game. Great for expanding vocabulary and descriptive imagination!
